Reliable baby monitor with a large screen
We purchased the Comfyer baby monitor for its larger 7â screen and option for expansion up to 4 cameras. It is a very intuitive unit to use and our unit came already paired. The display is crisp and clear during daytime use and the image refocuses very quickly after tilt and pan. Resolution is as expected for 720p at night. We like that the unit operates on a rechargeable battery and battery life is good for the full day unplugged and at night continues to operate when kept plugged in. Vox sensitivity setting works to conserve battery and only wakes up the unit when baby is making noise. The tablet screen has a stand integrated at the back. Two-way speaking volume is loud and clear. Panning is smooth and doesnât make a noise so it doesnât wake up baby. No WiFi is needed and range and connection has been good and stable. We are often outside in the backyard and the connection remains stable and cuts off around the exterior boundaries of my yard which is good for security purposes. There are a number of lullabies to select from including white noise on 15, 30 or 60 min timer or on repeat and you can still hear baby crying while lullaby is playing. You can also set various alerts including drop/increase in temperature. We are considering adding a couple more cameras since given how reliable the unit has been and mounting them to the wall or ceiling so we can simultaneously monitor our pets more easily with the wider coverage. At times the keys can be hard to see in the middle of the night since they are not lit but otherwise the large screen and features are all great and helps us keep an eye on our little ones.

One of my favorite features is the lullaby option on the tablet. I can play soothing lullabies through the camera anytime, which helps calm my baby down easily.Additionally, the high and low temperature alerts are incredibly convenient. We opted for the comfyer video baby monitor for it’s excellent balance of features for price. 1080p camera and zoom is great for seeing up close. Now I can see, hear or do both when my son is sleeping.I used it outside the home too. Setting up the monitor and camera was a breeze. The system uses the built-in 2.4GHz FHSS technology. So you donât need a router. The monitor and the camera are paired and connected automatically once you turn them on. No hacking concern. This is very important in my opinion.The monitor has a 7â screen. You can quietly remote-rotate the camera len horizontally (355°) and vertically (120°). Plus it supports up to 4 cameras. So basically you can scrutinize every corner of the room. The video stream is smooth and the audio is clear.Bonus feature: the included soft melodies and ambient (bird, ocean, and white noise) can help calm down the restless.Overall, pretty satisfied with my order. A must-have for new families.
Wow did I hit the nail on this one! With so many different baby monitors out there to pick from, I did a lot of research on similar products and really dug into the reviews before selecting this one. I am happy to report that this is the one to buy!Hereâs why: the image quality is superb. It is very important to be able to see if the baby is breathing by watching their shirt move up and down. The quality of this camera made this very easy along with the easy to find zoom button on the screen so we can zoom in for a better. The screen is a good size where it is easy to take for travel. The split-screen capability is perfect for monitoring both children.The camera is super easy to control and move around via the screen. The 355° horizontal and 120° vertical rotation is more than enough to view the entire room, so when they are toddlers and moving around the room, weâll have full visibility. Its noiseless operation keeps it from disturbing a sleeping baby.Set-up was a breeze and I really like the no-Wi-Fi needed feature, so hackers canât gain access. The flexible mount is really awesome that I didnât see available with many other products. The sound and temperature features are really great as well.Considering all the features, the quality and ease of use, this unit is most definitely the one to buy!
I bought this for my friend who was having a baby, but it seems like a lot of people had the same idea so he didnât need it. I ended up keeping it for myself and am using it as a security camera. It is actually quite good for that purpose. The remote PTZ function allows you to adjust the camera’s angle without having to physically move the monitor. It lets you scan the room remotely. The 1080P camera provides crystal-clear video, even in low-light conditions. The 7-inch HD screen is large enough to see every detail, and the audio quality is excellent. If you actually use the camera as a baby monitor, it has lullabies and white noise options that will soothe a baby to sleep. The camera also has a VOX mode that only activates the monitor when there’s noise, saving battery life and minimizing disturbances. The battery (4000mAh) life is pretty good.
The baby monitor that has it all…espcially like that it is non-Wifi so security or someone hacking in is not an issue! Color, Night Vision, Temperature sensor, voice activation, video streaming up to 17 hours, 2-way audio…not much else you need. The perfect baby monitor. Especially comforted that is operates without being on Wifi — don’t want strangers hacking in. Pan and Tilt and Zoom are features that are nice to use. Camera is 1080p, which is great..it’s a baby monitor after all and 1080p provides enough clarity. The display is 720p. Was easy to set-up and appears to function as expected.
There are a lot of great features with this! It comes with some lullabies and white noise selections which you can set the volume and a timer for. The two way speaker works great also. The night vision also works amazingly. It is very clear and wonât disturb the baby with any kind of light. The camera also connected instantly as soon as I turned it on and I was able to take it all the way across my house from the camera with no problem. I also like that you can connect up to 4 cameras with it too! The zoom feature also works perfectly and doesnât make any noise to disturb the baby. The monitor screen does not have to be plugged in and it charges fast when it needs to be charged. The camera does have to be plugged in to work but there is mounting hardware included if you want to mount it to a wall. Overall, a great system! I would definitely recommend it!
