Sturdy, looks OK, good value, some QA issues
Seems solid, some design and QA issues. Good value for money. Fit really well in the space we had. Seems like it will hold a lot. Advice: always glue the dowels. The anti falling method seems good, though my walls are not so flat so I used longer screws I had on hand.Design issue: the base of the units legs are cut out to allow for molding but the base of the unit is not. so it looses the functionality and looks silly.QA Issues:- 1 piece was missing its part sticker #- on 1 of the sides the bottom end was covered with the veneer which was not drilled through. I think the board itself was drilled but the veneer covered it. I did the 1 screw but didn’t put the 2 dowels into that part.- they put the warning stickers of the baseboard showing on the outside. goo gone to the rescue!- a number of pieces had dented edges or corners. but honestly its for little kids with books. and many of the pieces could be positioned so the best looking side is facing outward.

This holds SO many books!! It’s perfect! We mounted it into studs so it feels very secure. The metal bars are not flimsy at all (like how other reviews states…mine wouldn’t even bend when pulling them). Assembly was straight forward and easy, I gave 4 stars because some of the wood pieces have small gaps where they don’t come flush together— BUT this doesn’t effect the shelf!
