On the expensive side but the versatility is worth it
I love the look and feel of this car seat. It has a premium look with great padding to keep the little one happy and comfy on longer rides. That isn’t the main reason I wanted this though, but it definitely needs to be noted that this is one of the more comfortable feeling and looking ones I’ve seen while shopping around. Install was also not bad, I didn’t find it infuriating as I typically would with any car seat I’ve wrestled with.The main sell for this one is how compact and versatile it is. I have a fairly small vehicle(a 2018 Hyundai Ioniq that is essentially a sedan) and it fits nicely without overlapping into the other back seats. Where I can really see this coming in handy is also if as this grows with your child you have another and need to sit an additional seat in the back of a not so big car or have a niece or nephew with you. It really seems to have a good use of space without being too bulky.The versatility in this model can not be understated as probably the number one reason to invest in this. It seems a little high priced but the convertibility means it will age with your child until they are able to sit in the seat without a booster. Obviously this is great for your own children but I feel like Grandparents with multiple grand children of varying ages might love this. My parents have 6 kids and invariably will have many ages of grand children, and as such would really benefit off of this sort of car seat because it would allow them to take out any grand child without too much fuss.The safety is also a big component with the anti-rebound bar. Baby Jogger also has a “True Test Plus” in which they test their seats in a Crash Pulse Test, which is approximately twice the impact force required by US FMVSS 213 standard and are designed to protect your baby in front, rear, side and rollover crashes.Also of note they are tested in extreme cold and hot conditions(which for me living in Calgary in the super cold is another piece of mind).
Great grow with me carseat
Love this convertible car seat! For the price I think the quality is great. The size is perfect for my small Hyundai Elantra. My little guy is almost 6 months and has recently just outgrown his uppababy mesa bucket seat and seems to love this one. Car rides seem a lot more enjoyable for him. Wishing I went with this right from the beginning. Hereâs a pic for ref of us trying it out before putting into my car. Only reason I gave 4 stars was because I find the red release button for the harness a little difficult to press to release (not always a bad thing as baby canât ever undo)

versatile, safe, and well-constructed
I recently got this car seat for my little one, it has exceeded my expectations in terms of versatility, safety, and construction. The seat itself is made of steel, which gives it that sturdy feel you want when entrusting your precious cargo to it. Plus, all the parts just scream quality – they’re easy to use, and you can tell they’re built to last. One thing I love is how easy the straps are to click and unclick. It might sound like a small thing, however, when you’re trying to wrangle a squirming toddler into their seat, every second counts. And the material on this seat is top-notch. It’s super cozy for my little one, and the sleek, modern design is just an added bonus. But the real selling point for me is the safety features. Once this thing is installed, it’s not going anywhere. I feel so confident knowing that my child is well-protected in case of an accident. And the low siding makes it a breeze to get my kiddo in and out of the seat, which is a huge plus when you’re dealing with a wriggly toddler.Now, onto the not-so-great stuff. This seat is definitely on the heavier and larger side, so if you’re someone who needs to move it between cars frequently, you might want to think twice. For me, it’s not a huge deal since we mainly use it in our Honda Accord, and it fits perfectly in the middle of the back seat without interfering with the other seats.
Great to grow with
This car seat is expensive but if there is ever a thing to splurge on, this is it. Itâs great for small vehicles and is compact and easy to carry around, although it is a decent weight so you wonât want to carry it around a long time. This car seat has undergone tons of rigorous testing, including safety, crash, hot and cold weather. It has a ton of safety features as well as comfort features.Some highlights:* Thick, soft padding* Easy to adjust back height, can be done with one hand.* Seat belt easy to adjust and locks in tightly .* Most of the padding is held by Velcro and can be removed for cleaning.* The cup holder can be removed and hold a bottle or sip cup perfectly on either side of seat.* The level on the side of the car seat is a fantastic addition.* Attaching to the vehicle is the same as most car seats and is fairly easy.
