Purchased for our grandson to get onto his big boy bed. So far it has withstood the west and tear of a four year old
Some misaligned pilot screw holes
I like that this is made of a renewable bamboo. It is a nice looking design and has rubber pads on the bottom for stability.It took me almost 30 minutes to build this because the predrilled screw holes did not align well with each other. That was annoying, and for 2 of the screws, they ended up with the heads not sinking all the way in because of the misalignment. They do not stick out far enough to present a hazard, or to affect the use of the step stool, but it does not look great. I tried 3 times to make the screws line up, but could not get it to work. I was concerned if I kept trying I would end up cracking the wood.The steps are wide enough for small feet, and when I stepped on it, I felt very secure. I don’t know if it could hold an actual 300 pounds, but there was no way to test that.I am using this for a step stool for an older cat, and for children when they visit, but mostly for the cat so she can climb on the bed. The height of the steps is perfect for her and wide enough that she is very willing to use it. I think this is a good “off label” use for the stool as it looks very nice in the room where it is being used. Compact design, great for small spaces
I purchased this bamboo step stool to help reach items on the top shelf in my pantry, and it’s been a great addition. The stool is sturdy and holds up well when standing on it, giving me confidence in its durability. It also looks really nice with its natural bamboo finish, which blends well with my kitchen.Assembly was straightforward and didn’t take much time. The non-slip pads are a nice touch, providing extra stability. Overall, it’s a functional and stylish step stool that’s perfect for small spaces. Crafted poorly
The screw holes were uneven causing the screw to not go into the step during installation and it stripped the wood. Defective. Sad because i was waiting for this for my son
Easy to assemble; very sturdy but light enough for my child to move
This bamboo two-step stool from COSYLAND is a nice addition to our main bath.It arrives disassembled but everything needed for assembly is included (Allen key, screwdriver.)Once assembled this is very sturdy but lightweight. I am a petite 5ft tall adult female and weight 128 lbs and have no qualms about hopping up on this stool to reach higher up items or using it to reach windows when cleaning.My son is 8 yrs old and we have another solid wood step stool that even I have to use two hands to lift so this is a nice alternative for him.It looks very hygge-inspired which matches with our decor and I like how neutral it is.Overall a great step stool for kids and adults alike.
Solid and sturdy.
This stool is made of solid bamboo and has a wonderful design.The top steps are pleaded for some traction on bare feet.It came with everything required for assembly. The English instructions were in the back side of the instruction booklet.The pieces were labelled according to the steps in the manual.Very easy to put together. Took very little time to do.Very attractive, well made. It is sturdy and safe.Shipping and delivery was fast.
sturdy bamboo
This two-step stool is ideal for the bathroom, to give little ones a bit of a boost to the sink and faucet. The description even states that it has a 300 pound capacity, which seems a little excessive. Even with ~200 pound weight on it, you start to question whether it will hold up and not crack or worse, split and cause injury. That said, it could be that it’s better if this weight was more distributed perhaps off to the sides where there’s more structure and the support bamboo frame. Or perhaps this 300 pound description is really 150 each for the top and bottom step. Either way, it’s thick bamboo that’s reliable enough for a young child who just needs that extra little bit of height around the house. Assembly-wise, it took a bit of time and careful following of the instructions that could use just a tad more clarity and description. Also, there is a bit of misalignment between the predrilled holes and where the screws are placed.
