Very sturdy, and sits flush with the floor. Zero wobble in ours. Nice looking materials.
Picked this up originally already intending to leave off the top cage section and just use the base as it was exactly what we were looking for. Quite pleased with this kit as the wood looks quite nice, but is also quite sturdy. The assembled stool/mini-table feels very sturdy when put together. Does not feel flimsy and personally experienced zero wobble when assembled. It sat quite flush with the floor. The step is handy, and the surface is wide enough to serve as a little mini table / side-table in a pinch. It’s robust enough to function as a step stool. Since acquiring this “stool” we have utilized it on a daily basis without fail. Very handy. The assembly was fairly simple, but the process for connecting the top cage could have been better thought out. The hardware isn’t easy to access once you get that top cage put on, which makes it inconvenient if you want to remove just the cage portion after assembly. We opted to not install that portion at all, since we neither needed it nor looked forward to having to try removing it afterwards. But for the stool/side table base… we are very pleased. The little front decorative pieces at the bottom of the front legs… was a bit of an awkward design add? Could have gone without them, but they look fine.Likes:- Zero wobble when fully assembled – it was completely flush with the floor.- Solid materials.- The wood looks quite nice, both in the grain & coloring.- Easy enough to assemble.- Omitted the top cage portion and the base “table” portion has worked out great for our needs.Dislikes:- Find the design for connecting the upper cage portion to the base table is a bit inconvenient and poorly thought out. Once you connect the top portion the hardware becomes awkward to reach so it’s not really meant to be put together and taken apart easily.- Some minor fitment gaps.

What a great little stool to allow the littles to help where you are.The stool comes unassembled in the box. The instructions werenât too bad could have been better. We were able to get it together so they were good enough for that.The stool is made entirely of wood. The top should sit around counter height depending on the counter. Most are standard height so this should work unless they are really short. The stool allows the child to stand inside the cage. Where the steps are the kid needs to enter under the back bar which gives added protection so they donât fall off.The stool is very sturdy. The only issue we came across was one piece was split. It wasnât a huge deal because itâs in one of the rails closer to the top which isnât weight bearing. We will glue the piece just havenât as of yet. The rest of the stool had no issues. Iâm glad it wasnât a weight bearing piece or I would have sent it back for replacement. It doesnât affect the function or safety of the stool so Iâm good with just fixing it with glue needed.The stool is at counter height so if you have a fearless child they will climb over and get into the counter. Thatâs where we are at with our 2 year old granddaughter who isnât so interested in helping but more so with climbing in everything so be sure the little kids are supervised or they could have a fall.Great product I really like it. Be sure QC is looking through the pieces for splits and such that could affect the stool. Itâs easier to fix in factory then get a bad review and have to replace it.
Sturdy with all rounded edges
Very sturdy easy to assemble step stool that has no wobble whatsoever siting on my tiled floors. The widened base also adds a lot of stability giving me peace of mind for side to side movement.I especially like the attention to detail on all of the rounded edges giving a small layer of protection in case of any bumps or tumbles.

Sturdy and clear instructions
This kitchen step tool looks great! It fits in any decor, it’s sturdy and the instructions are clear.Every piece is identified clearly, it comes with all the required tools. It looks like great quality. It’s safe and stable. Definitely a great choice!I wouldn’t recommend using any power tool as some suggested, as it could go too far and make the pieces loose. It’s never recommended to use power tools to assemble furniture unless it’s specifically made for it. You can spend a bit extra time and effort for a piece of furniture you will be using for years!
easy to put together
it was easy to set up and put together. not as high quality as some however i like the base and hasn’t been tippy.found a few rough corners on the wood that i smoothed out myself.kids love being able to help in the kitchen without the stool being too big and getting in the way throughout the kitchen.
Multi use!!!
For now we are just using the step stool part. We have it in our living room and our son 1 year old sits on the tread and plays with things on the top. It was pretty easy to assemble and appears to be made from good quality materials. The wood is also smooth so no wood slivers. Will add the top when our little one is a bit bigger. It also works great as a foot stool just put a pillow on the top
