This has got to be one of the funnest toys but beware, it will give you a workout! I wouldn’t say it’s a tummy toy because of how far it can travel but it’s certainly engaging. I got it because I thought it would be good to add to the stash of toys at my place for my niece but she’d never be able to keep her eyes on it. Instead, I’m storing it away for when she can walk and can chase it around.It’s quite noisy so I don’t think many of us would be able to listen to the noise for too long but there is a second setting without sound. The lights will still flash and the crab will run around without the sound so it’s still engaging but much less noisy.Highly recommend. This toy is seriously fun!Update: this has been tested on my 3.5 month old niece and it is true, it’s too fast and travels too far for her to keep her eyes on it. However, she does try! My 8 year old is obsessed with it and has randomly put it on to chase it around. Still highly recommend!

…some room for improvement.ðSturdy plastic throughout, fun music and this crab can really crawl!! Ideal for engaging toddlers to follow along.Based on the photos on the package, it looks like the crab also talks, it doesn’t.I thought this would be a bit bigger but this is adequate in size for very young children.I wouldn’t personally pay more than $20 for this toy, comparing it to similar products.Supervision recommended!
This crab toy will for sure keep your kids and yourself from getting crabby
Super cute crab (though its realistically more a snail) that moves around your house using motion sensors so it doesn’t constantly run into your furniture or other objects. It’s not perfect by any means, but then again do be realistic in the sense that you’re buying off Amazon, not having it made by a top notch engineering company. Its fairly easy to setup, but I would definitely leave it to the adults to operate it for the entertainment of the kids. Plastic quality is fine and easy to clean. I would try to have it stay on flat surfaces and avoid having it move from a lower to a higher surface since its bottom is so close to the floor. The music is lovely and definitely adds to the fun of the crab, but for more sensitive children, the music might be too loud and noisy after a while. The lights are definitely engaging and not too strong on the kids eyes, and they seem to love how the lights shine when we turn it out. For 21.99, its a great toy to have and I would recommend it!
Fun, loud, needs supervision
This is a cute little toy, however, reading other review a few things to note- Should be supervised when this is on in front of a child that is less than 3 years old at all the times!! The speed with which this crawls can catch toddler’s hair.-Should be supervised when charging as well-Is very loud and no way to adjust the sound, although you can keep the sound off.Other than the above, my toddler enjoys this crawling crab.
