Looks Amazing When Complete!
Taking my time it took a few days to build. Instructions were easy to follow and all the pieces fit together nicely. My only complaint was that the stickers on the outside of the hull have double sided tape which did not stick well. You definitely need glue to help them stay on. It looked fabulous when finished. As an update this is one of three ships I have built. I have also recently built Queen Anne’s Revenge and the Titanic. The Santa Maria was by far the easiest of the three.

Loved that it was so easy to put together for the most part. I did have to glue a few pieces. But that is totally ok. It turned out a little bigger than I thought it would be. But it’s beautiful. I would definitely recommend.
The quality is good and the price is reasonable.

It looks very good when completed and is sitting with the Queen Anne’s revenge which I also have made. Just have a little clear glue handy as some parts have double sided tape on them and it tends to let go after a few days and needs to be glued back in place. Other than that it is a very nice puzzle.

I am surprised how good this is with pushout pieces from sheets of parts.Fits well and well detailed. Looks classy when finished.

I have built 3 of these ships, this one is a great starter. For anyone that has never done this before. Clear directions and illustrations.
First, I believe the sister CubicFun 3D project Tortuga Pirate Bay, is more fun to build, more unique, original, and viewable, but the subject Santa Maria is definitely worthwhile doing and viewing. From a couple of feet distance it looks amazing. As is true for all these models, occasional use of water-based school glue makes assembly much easier and permanent. Masking tape sometimes comes in handy.I’ve added a photo that includes Santa Maria as well as Tortuga Pirate Bay.August17, 2024
I really liked the ship. It was a quality ship.
I discovered this brand and type of puzzle when trying to occupy my mind during a terrible time in my life. I was trying to handle my Mother and Uncle in the hospital at the same time and driving many hours 4 times weekly. When I was not driving, I was working on these to take my mind off them.I appreciated the instructions, effort required, patience, and overall quality of the product which I have on display in my home in various locations. I would recommend this as a personal project or a family effort. Even though not many pieces, it is time-consuming and worth it in the end. I will continue to recommend this brand as well as look forward to the next puzzles they provide. I have redone a couple twice as I needed something to occupy me, and these were the perfect item.
