I read a lot of negative reviews before buying this; it was on sale so thought I’d give it a try for my 8mo. We’ve had it a few days now and LOVE it. Here’s some of the negative I saw and my comments:- Scary: YUP! My 8mo did NOT like it right away, even though I found it really cute immediately (the chirping sounds are so adorable!). He has since warmed up to it and loves watching it, and looks over at me to see if I’m seeing this and smiles big and squeals. But yes, initially he was afraid of it.- Loud: The lowest volume setting is a bit loud, but nothing unbearable. The music is cute, and the volume actually needs to be that loud to cover up the sound of the gears (which, again, is not a big deal in my mind). We use the lowest setting and it’s fine.- Doesn’t stay on long: It actually stays on longer than our other moving toy (V-tech crawling bear). I don’t personally like to use toys as a “babysitter” so I’m always nearby, usually enjoying the toy with my 8mo, and just give it a touch when it stops, so this isn’t a problem for us. It moves for the length of the songs, maybe 45-60secs (I haven’t timed it).- Doesn’t work/move: Ours works great! Redirects itself well when it bumps the area rug or couch or wall. We use it exclusively on hardwood floors. Maybe those issues were defects?All in all we have had a positive experience with the toy and highly recommend (especially if you catch it on sale!).
Awesome toy!
My little one is captivated by this toy. He loves to watch it move around and make sounds. The noises are tolerable too.
Noisy but lovely
I gifted this little dino to my nephew. The quality is really good. It keeps moving here and there, touching the things and coming back. My nephew was first afraid of it as it moves quick and sounds bad. It is quite loud even after having 2 sound levels. That is the only drawback i feel

My son loves this so much, I bought one for my 1 year old nephew. Perfect for when they are learning to crawl and move around. And the sounds it makes are not annoying and repetitive like most other toys.

Great but broke down
Little one was just watching the dino the first few months then he started to grab it and with that the dino walk any longer if you touch it. It starts but then randomly stops and then randomly starts again without touching. Wish this toy could have lasted longer..
Fabulous sturdy toy!!
Love it for my grandchildren ages 7mos to 2.5 years. They play with it together for a long time!! Gets them moving around. Have bought 3 so far!!!
Great toy for infants learning to crawl/be mobile
Excellent and cute to watch infant nephew crawl after the dinosaur and even mimics the dinosaurâs growl
I like the fact that this dinosaur crawling toy is very interactive and fun. Itâs a fun cause and effect toy with being touch sensitive to make it go again. I will say it moves best on hard flooring rather than a rug or mat.

I got this for my 7month old grandson as he started crawling. It’s one of his favourite toys when he comes to visit.My dog isn’t too keen though.Seems safe enough for him – everything goes in the mouth at the minute.Ideal that it has 2 noise levels, doesn’t both me but my daughter finds the noise annoyingly repetitive.It’s colourful and robust, with cute Dino noises, catchy tunes and flashing lights.
