I really like this mini chopper I had one then it died I had it for a long time. I wanted another one . It works great

Good machine
I love this little processor – I use it for quick small jobs in the kitchen – like making bread and cheese crumbs to top baked pasta dishes, grinding up some nuts, chopping garlic, or making salad dressings etc. My only complaint is it has a weird design flaw – grasping the top to take it off is awkward, as the piece you have to grab is too shallow. So there’s a little fumbling every time I try to remove or put the top back on. It also has a small hole in the top – presumably for relieving air pressure – or pouring in liquid – but the hole is too small for pouring anything in without spilling…so that doesn’t work. But it does what I need it to do well and it is light and easy to move around. I keep it up on a shelf under my countertop, that is close to a countertop plug – so it’s very handy to store and use because of it’s compact size. I recommend it.

I bought this after researching and reading the cooks illustrated review. The key feature was that the lowest level blade was very low. My old one wasn’t as low and that factor really impacts performance. It results in much more even pieces of whatever you chop and the ability to purée better.Since it arrived I have made pecan nut butter twice andbit turned out great. I used to make it in my big breville food processor ( which i love ) but wanted to be able to quickly make a smaller batch and quickly clean up ( the parts on this are much smaller and don’t take up a lot of room in the dishwasher.If you haven’t made nut butter a couple of insights that may be helpful.1. dryness of nuts varies even when fresh so any given batch can end up drier/oiler than another2. if my batch is too dry i add some almond oil. healthy nut oil and the flavour compliments, add a little and increase as needed3. freezing and toasting nuts dries them4. never add water as your butter can seize. even syrup can cause it to seize. I know because i added some maple syrup to a batch and it turned into a dough ball. i put it into a dish and manually incorporated almond oil and it turned out yummy. If you add syrup add it right at the endI haven’t used this prep machine for anything other than nut butter but expect it will work well as it’s powerful. More powerful than i expected and the very low lower blade will be good in processing whatever youput in urIt does “walk” a little on the counter but not a lot or uncontrollable. It’s like because it’s small but powerfulIt’s lightweight so easy to put away and move around but not at all flimsy.This is an excellent value and based on my experience so far with it and with using a competitors I highly recommend it.

Excellent tool for chopping and mincing vegetables.
It is a very handy tool for little jobs of chopping and mincing. I have arthritis in my hand so the mini chopper helps me immensely. If vegetables are harder like carrots, give the motor a rest several times. As with any motor, it could burn out if you just keep it going and going. I have a large cusinart and both the large and mini are fantastic food processors. I also have Cusinart rice cookers. The company manufactures great products.

I bought this because I make my own mayonnaise and I wanted a mini food processor with a feeder top. The small holes in the top make adding the oil very easy, and the mayonnaise comes out perfect every time. It would be better if there were an “ON” button. The machine works beautifully but you have to hold down the button to keep it going, so making mayonnaise is still a chore. On the plus size, everything else I do with it just takes moments. I mainly use it to chop garlic and herbs, but the other morning, my coffee grinder was clogged and I used the mini processor to grind the beans!
