Update: After I submitted this review, the company contacted me and offered a full refund, I declined the refund as I am happy with toilet seat and the main part of the stool. They also told me that they have a newer product available and offered a discount if I wanted to try that one, again I declined because overall the toilet seat and stool are safe and functional.The actual toilet insert is perfect, it is adjustable to fit on any toilet seat and with the ability to tighten the seat provides for a more stable seating option. My son has balance issues due to low core muscle tone and the step stool is good, but when the top part is snapped in, it is very thin and does not allow for stable footing.

Would recommend this product to all parents with toddlers. The seat is fantastic and super comfortable and also safe. My little guy also just loves the stool it comes with. Tall enough for a 1.5 year old to use to wash his hands and brush his teeth. The rubber bottom is also great for safety. Very glad we purchased this.

Potting training
I originally had the training seat that sat over the toilet. Worked great until my grandchildren were tall enough to wash their hands but couldn’t reach. So a two piece set was what I needed and works great for this small washroom
Better than a one piece unit
I preferred this option over a the one piece step-up units. The seat has an adjustment underneath that makes for a more sturdy fit on the toilet. Plus the step stool can be moved to the sink after thr fact for hand washing.
I liked this after the initial introduction stage. When they are more comfortable going on their own this is a great potty seat! Itâs easy to store away as well. The under can get messy but if you clean it often no worries
