Better than expected
I have purchased many ‘waterproof’, ‘water resistant’, ‘water wicking’ etc. mattress cover before realizing they suck and then found this while looking for a proper vinyl protective barrier for my daughter’s mattress and was pleasantly surprised i finally got a mattress protector that worked as advertised.

Absolute garbage – breaks at every seam possible
I wrapped a foam crib mattress in this cover and upon lifting it, the cover fell apart. The plastic around the zipper just tore and completely opened up. It’s extremely plasticky and thin. Total garbage. Don’t waste your money.
Horrible product it all ripped
I bought this for my son’s mattress a few months ago and I took the fitted sheet off and it was all ripped to shreds do not recommend this product it is horrible
Vinyl Crib Mattress Covers are a SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) hazard!
Please look for a safer alternative for waterproofing your baby’s crib. Vinyl off-gasses toxic chemicals which can cause crib death (SIDS). Polyethylene is the safest alternative waterproof material, but the easiest alternative to source is polyurethane, for which there are abundant options on the Amazon site. This vinyl item should be banned for sale in Canada, where our medical officials are aware of such hazards.
Hope it holds up. Bought this for use on a very old toddler bed mattress that I use for my dogs. It was waterproof, but the material has been cracking. It’s very old at this point. Not ready to buy a new mattress, I decided to buy a waterproof protector for use in the meantime. I looked specifically for a zippered option. This was one of the few at a reasonable price.It fits well. The mattress has broken down over the years, so it is kind of mashed down in parts, but this cover still works very well with it.I have a cute fitted mattress sheet that goes on top as well as a blanket. I imagine this cover should hold up fine, but I will update if I experience anything worth sharing. Overall I am pleased
Thud is actually a vinyl plastic material. I’ve tried a handful that say waterproof and this one is the closest to water proof. Many things that say water proof are only water resistant and that’s really what you want. For it to repel and resist water. It’s not like you’re going submerge the mattress into a full pool of water. It would get wet if you did that. But this will resist pee and that’s what we’re trying to do with our toddlers. Great product.
These are perfect. You have a baby that spits up a lot, easy clean up. Got a potty training toddler, easy clean up. Got a vynal mattress that’s cracking, simple for until they get into a bigger bed. One of the best purchases ever and I recommend to everyone

I was so happy with this cover until it ripped about 3 months in. It can’t be completely water proof if it is ripped!Up until this point, it’s so easy to wipe down. It’s a little big for a crib mattress, but the crinkles never bothered my toddler. Since my toddler loves to take off her diaper, she tends to pee the bed a lot. I loved just wiping it down and not worrying about the mattress itself.
