I don’t know 100% of it was accurate but seemed so.
Authentic temp
Gives an authentic temp as the next day we went to the vet and it was the same temp. Not too large that it made her uncomfortable either.
Order additional batteries at time of purchase
Product worked great, a grand total of twice and third time it indicated it needed a battery. I should know better, left me in a lurch as I use it to tell if my dog is going to go into labour. I now have two pregnant dams and can’t run out for a battery as I live on a remote island without ferry service. As well I can’t leave the dams alone at this point.

Keep getting an err after replacing battery.
When trying to take pregnant dogs temp at first I couldnât get an accurate read. Thermometer kept fluctuating while taking temp for 5 minutes. Decided to change the battery to see if that makes a difference. Now when I try to take temp it says err and now I can not even get a temp which is important being that my dog is pregnant
Great for dogs, too small for horses
Good little pet thermometer, good for your canine or goat and smaller first aid kit. Looks nice and soft/flexible. Safe little owner pet thermometer and the bright color is nice. It says for horses too, but I wonât be using them in my equine first aid kit. A little small for horses and no wrist strap loop (if you know, you know). Havenât had them long enough to speak to battery life.

Not accurate.
Update. Contacted by seller to fix the problem. Excellent customer service. I have simply gotten a dud. It happens. If you order one and it does not work correctly they will assist. Thank youOver 1 full degree discrepency from 2 other thermometers which read to .1 of a degree of each other which makes this thermometer not even close to accurate. It also takes over a min to get to the wrong reading. Not helpful with a sick animal
