Exceeding my expectations
So far Iâm really liking these reusable storage bags! We started growing our own veggies this year, and Iâm impressed with how well fresh produce lasts in these. The flat bottom make them easy to fill and store side by side standing up. The zipper seals smoothly with no leakage, and they wash great in warm soapy water. I prefer to hand wash them as my silicone utensils seem to start breaking down if I use dishwasher detergent.
Iâve used these a few times nowâ¦
Theyâre great in the fridge, great in the freezer! Dishwasher safe, but a little inconvenient to get in there. I like to put them inside out especially if I used them for raw meats. I find it easier than to try to prop them where they stay open. No other complaints!

Bought these to see what they were like. Durable. Seals well. I like the outside measurements on the bags. Haven’t tried freezing anything in them yet but I’m sure there won’t be an issue. The seller advises you can wash them in the dishwasher. I would NOT recommend this. I washed some of them in the dish washer and they did not stand up properly in the wash and ended up having little indents in the plastic that are there from the prongs on the rack.I do recommend them. I believe cheaper in the long run and less waste that disposable bags in the landfill!

Super food storage option especially with limited freezer space
Very pleased with these so far and they are helping immensely because I have limited freezer space. Personally I do not clean them in the dishwasher simply because I think they’ll last longer if I hand wash. Cleaning is easy with soap and water. When a tomato based sauce has been stored in it I fill the storage bag with soapy water and let sit for an hour. It comes almost completely clean. So far durable with no leaking issues but not sure how long they will last with repeated use. Four stars on durability until I’ve used them longer.
Great Value and Quality
Great thick plastic bags. It’s great that they stand on their own which makes filling them easy. They do however stain, but they are still useable. Flip them inside out and they can be put on the top shelf of your dishwasher
great alternative to plastic containers when you have limited space for storage
These bags were the best idea to get for my travel trailer. Makes putting left overs and such in the small fridge as well as in a small drawer. They don’t leak and I’ve used a few of them a couple times and still no leaks. Just remember that they can’t go in the microwave. I don’t microwave stuff so I’m ok with that. Hand wash is easy too. Just wash them inside out and they stand up by themselves to dry then.
Leak and not silicone
I made broth, let it cool for hours. Filled approx 4 bags and left then on the counter for no more than 30 seconds and my dog was drinking the broth from the closed bags off my hardwood floors. Not a single bag contained the broth. Made a huge mess.These are plastic and not silicone, a slicone is resistant to high heat. These bags are not. They are made from shower curtain. False advertising as I thought I was getting silicone.
Everyone will be able find uses for these heavy-duty storage bags. They are built to last! Think of all the things you have accumulating in drawers and boxes. Now you have a place to put them!Their primary purpose is for food, of course. But these will let you take things out of the box like cookies, crackers, etc and make sure they’re sealed up. Like small “bread baskets” I have a bag for each of these things now and I don’t have to worry about them being exposed to air and losing their freshness. I then put all of these loose bags in a bread box. I don’t bother cleaning out the bags after every time I empty it. I label everything with a marker and now I have a place for everything!I LOVE how they stand up by themselves when you open them up!Getting out of the kitchen – think about your car! You really should have some bandaids and such in every car! The first aid kits you buy today are mostly things you end up throwing out. They use cheap Band-Aids that don’t stick. And what about little things like q-tips, antacids, a clean hankie and aspirin? You may want to put each of these in a cheap sandwich bag and then collect them all in one of these reusable storage bags! It’s better than any basic first aid kit you’ll find!But there’s so much more you can do with these! How about a place to put those extra USB cables and maybe those USB converters that come with every device you buy? I keep an external hard drive for backing up my computer in one of the large bags. I don’t have to worry about dust or god forbid, water.How about having a place to put your precious photographs and souvenirs? Or a place to keep those extra set of car keys (after you label them)?The workshop, the basement, the bathroom, the bedroom. There isn’t a room where you can’t find a use for at least one of these bags!A MUST-HAVE FOR TRAVEL!Easy wash and rinse out. While you can put them in the freezer okay, the ONLY drawback I can think of is that you can’t reheat leftovers in them, either in the microwave or boiling them! They’re not that kind of bag!This all said, I can’t help but notice there are MANY sturdy, reusable plastic storage bag alternatives on the market now, many of them less expensive. I would recommend you shop around but I can tell you these will certainly do the job!
They are exactly as advertised – Reusable Food Storage Bags. An appealing alternative to disposable storage bags if you’re up to the additional work of cleaning and drying them. They can be washed in the dishwasher, but not dried in the dishwasher. I knew this when I ordered them, so no negative to the seller or product.But… our default d/w setting is heated dry so this requires a behavioral change for us. Getting them ‘stretched’ over a few tines in the upper d/w rack is not difficult, but we have had a couple fold-over since they are about twice the height of the tines. Thus, the best solution is to probably hand wash them and let them air dry. The price of re-usability, I guess.The bags themselves are thicker than the typical freezer bag and seal well. They stand up pretty decently and have convenient markings. About the width of a typical gallon bag, but shorter. They come in a generic heavy brown card-stock envelope. No instructions.
I like a lot about these reusable bags. They’re considerably thicker than standard disposable bags. They’re large, open wide, and hold a lot of food, and the plastic is well-formed and seems like it will be durable when hand-washing. I don’t think I’ll try them in the dishwasher since I’ve had an issue with many similar plastic materials taking on the taste of my dishwashing detergent.The only thing I don’t like with these bags, and it’s unfortunately a big issue, is that the tops of mine come apart with little effort. Given that things get moved around a lot in the fridge and freezer, I can’t trust that these won’t spring open unintentionally and cause a mess. Because of that, I’m not going to be able to use these for anything liquid or that will spill easily. They’ll still cut down on my plastic waste but not as well as I’d hoped.3.5 Stars rounded up.
Yes, these are dishwasher safe, but I found it difficult to prop them up in just the right way so they stay open to be washed in the washer. Even then, when I opened the washer, many of them ended up collapsing and trapping a lot of water in them, becoming kind of like a water balloon. I rinsed them out and it’s fine, but then it was a pain to prop them open so they could fully dry. I saw they also have a drying rack specifically designed for reusable bags, so I may end up getting those because I love the idea and the quality of these bags, and would love to get more sizes in the future.
These are pretty sturdy bags. They fit quite a bit of food and are freezer safe.
