This dog car seat arrived double-wrapped for extra protectionâfirst shrink-wrapped, and then encased in a thick, protective cover. The box itself had the cutest photo of a puppy on it, along with a friendly warning not to impulsively cut down the package, as you could rip the product. I love this thoughtful detailâit’s smart because, letâs face it, people can sometimes rip through packages in their excitement to get to the product!Plus instructions w/pictorial included. (See photo)Once I removed the shrink wrap, the seat expanded seamlessly into its full size, almost like magic. It was really cool to watch! I didnât notice how large it was at first, but it does specify itâs for dogs up to 35 lbs, and mine is 20 lbs. I think the foam will compress a little over time, but itâs already cushy and comfy. I almost wanted to crawl into it myself! : ðThe seat comes with ample straps to attach it securely to your car seat, and a seat belt to keep your precious cargo safe. My dog tends to jump from the back to the front, but this seat will prevent that unsafe behavior, both for him and for the driver. Itâs reassuring to know heâs secured.Plus, the seat has handy side pockets for storage, already put to use by some friends who hitched a ride in it already. ðI donât have a photo of my dog in it yet, as Iâve been sick, but Iâll add one later. I highly recommend this! I got this for my dog who always loves to get up and look outside the window and she was so overjoyed when she was sitting on it and was just so excited that she could just sit and look outside the window easily. The seat belt is nice and secure and I have had no issue so far and it seems pretty comfortable
