Dog loves it.
While this didn’t fit in between our front seats due to a narrow space, it did fit in between the back seats in our car. Regardless, our one dog who hates riding in the car and whines terribly every time we have to go anywhere, was snug and content to ride in it on a couple longer car trips now, even sleeps, which is amazing. She finds the flap for her chin comfortable as well. It’s also great that it works as a carrier if needed when out and about and she or our other dog get tired as they are seniors.

My yorkie loves it. The reason i gave it 4 stars is because it does not fit well in all vehicules. My husband has a murano. It fits perfectly however i have a smaller SUV -Qashqai and it is squished its ok but not a perfect fit.

as you can see , my dog loves this! I find that he is way more calm and well behaved when he’s secured and near us in the car , rather than secured in the backseat. my dog is a chihuahua poodle mix , 15” tall from paw to ear, and is 11 pounds. if your dog is similar in size then it will be perfect for you!

She can see and be close. She would not settle in a crate and it’s too dangerous on a lap if an airbag deployed. She liked trying it in the house, it feels like a hug, just the right size. She settled pretty quickly on our first trip.

I have an 8 lb poodle who likes to jump from one side of the car to the other. She wants to be able to see out but being so small, it just wasn’t happening. But this was the answer! To be honest, it took a little bit for her top get used to it but she loves it now. She can see what’s going on and if she gets tired, she can rest her head on the cut out on the front. I have even seen her asleep there. Our trips are much more comfortable for BOTH of us now. I highly recommend. It is a little hard to attach to the console lid, but not impossible. Also, it depends on the vehicle, but worth trying to get it to fit.

Walls should be more structured or reinforced somehow to keep unit stiffer, as currently it leans markedly to one side or another when my 6 lb Chihuahua presses his weight against a wall. The elastic straps that “anchor” it actually do little to prevent this. Perhaps redesigning the walls with stiffer and thicker outer wall footings at its base that narrows upward to shorter walls would give them enough strength to eliminate the dogs weight from shifting enough outward that it created the lean over issue. Also, the interior strap that attaches to the pet’s collar should have an adjustable length buckle to allow customization of “wiggle room” / movement for the pet while inside. I gave it 3 stars because although frequently requiring repositioning, it was very comfortable for my 6 lb. Chihuahua on a 275 mile trip where he slept with his head resting on the front zip down cushioned wall as his body stretched comfortably in the soft container. We’ll use it again on a much longer trip to TN later this month, but it’s not serving me well on short urban trips for the reasons noted; but it’s great for freeing your lap for longer trips. Please redesign it as it would be extremely nice then.

This dog car seat is everything I expected it to be and perfect for my dauchund. She is so satisfied with the ability to watch where we are going and usually cuddles up and sleeps in the soft comfort of it.
