Adaptable security
Used for outdoor shed used by our cats so needed door held open but not disturbed by wind. Worked beautifully, allows door to be held at exactly the position desired, very flexible for adjusting.

Our little guy isnât able to get to the basement door so far! Adhesion seems well, thereâs been a few times where an adult forgot it was connected, and it hasnât ripped off yet
Works very well
Exactly as pictured/described. Came with extra sticky pad. Worked so well that when I forgot to unlatch it, it ripped paint off my wall. Not once, not twice but I did it 3 times haha so just be sure to unlatch before trying to open the door. Can easily order replacement sticky pads on Amazon too. Follow removal instructions when needing to remove so you don’t have any problems.
I would have loved this product so much if it didn’t come off after 2 uses
easy to install and use but my toddler managed to open the door after two uses and also ripped off my wall in the process, for 57$ i am stuck with a useless product now
A must have if you have a baby and cats
This is a lifesaver for us! Our 10 month old is on the move and extremely interested in the laundry room which happens to house the cats litter boxes and food. We didnât want to always have the door shut on our cats, but also didnât want her getting into cat food again! This is so simple to install, it took about 1 minute or less. So far the adhesion is holding up well. I like that the strap is adjustable and easily unhooks when youâd like it to. Our cats havenât had any issues going in and out of their room when this door buddy is in use. The foam stopper stays exactly where placed. Overall this was great purchase and has made it a little easier to let the baby roam more freely. Hopefully this will hold up for us for at least a few more years!
I have been using a metal type door mechanism that let the cats in and kept the dogs out (and toddler). The metal one was a pain! Constantly bending, often bumping into it on the way out, which caused annoyance and sometimes hurt. Buying this Door Buddy was the perfect answer to ease of use and a secure room. I was so impressed I ordered two more last night (I waited until I tried this one) and will be securing other rooms. It is so easy to enter a room, you just lift up on the strap lock (zero effort) and slide it back in place to lock it behind you. When not being used, the door opens and latches as before, unlike with the metal cat door latch I was using before. I highly recommend this.
This is a fantastic product, I fitted as per instructions and not my cat can go into the utility room to eat and use her litter tray but the dog cannot get in. The stopper prevents the door from closing and the strap length can be adjusted. This saves us from having to cut a hole in the do of for the Traditional cat flap. Thank you for coming up with this fantastic product
What a surprise, well made in the USA (Pelham, AL just down the hwy from me) product and worth every penny. I use it as a cat excluder, keeping our bedroom door open to facilitate ventilation. Now, I donât have to build the Berlin Wall every night to keep the fur balls out and off the bed.I did not use the 3M VHB adhesive included as it can be a bear to remove. Instead, I used 3M Command adhesive tabs that donât damage the finish of walls or any surface for that matter. I did clean the application area with alcohol before sticking them on. Iâve had great results with them over the years. I wish the foam wedge was a bit bigger but you can move it to the top of the door and nearer to the hinges to increase open space. Just a minor issue along with the adhesive. Otherwise, this is a near perfect product that I am very satisfied with. Thatâs saying a lot coming from me. Skip the foreign knock offs and buy the real thing and keep jobs at home.
This is a great product to stop children opening door they should not while making it easy for the adults.No clasps, keys or other annoying bits. Straight forward, simple and easy to use . Well made product, sturdy and so far long lasting? We are a bit clumsy and so far they all survived us .Would but again if needed
I got this as a way to keep my unusually big and strong toddler from opening a door and getting into my valuable collections. At first, I tried using the door knob covers, but he quickly figured that out. I really didnât want to change the door knobs to ones with locks, so Iâm glad I ended up trying this one out! The instructions list different ways to install it depending on which side your door opens, and also depending on how strong you need it to be. I recommend installing it the stronger way, as it has worked VERY WELL for us. Itâs super easy to install and you donât need to drill any holes – it literally just uses the 3M mounting tape (if thatâs what itâs called). Anyways I just wanted to let yâall know that it is durable, cause I had my doubts at first! Definitely give it a try! Itâs inexpensive and actually works! Yay!
