Great for plants!
A couple of my plants got infested with thrips. Anyone who has plants knows thrips are a nightmare and the best solution is beneficials but they cost a lot as you have to purchase 3-4 different kinds to target all the different stages of the thrips growth cycle.I tried different soap solutions and this was by far the best and least harmful! The smallest amount of soap and neem oil diluted in water sprayed onto plants once a week for 3 weeks did the trick. Drenching the leaves of the plant on both sides and allowing the excess to drip off. Some plants needs 2 treatments ( these were ones that were in water) and the plants in soil needed 3 treatments.The great thing is the solution lasts a long time and the soap since you only need a little goes a long way. You can also use it diluted to wipes the plant leaves to help repel pests/bugs.
Great for making soap during COVID
Used to make hand soap during early COVID times…was able to stretch a bottle out across dozens of smaller pump hand soaps. Peppermint scent was a nice base for the essential oils that were added. Was nice to have on hand when there were soap shortages.

good for sensitive skin
Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint -Pure Castle Liquid Soap was introduced to me by my sister 4 yrs ago and I have been using it since. Would not trade it for anything else. I have extremely sensitive skin and its perfect for people like myself. perfect as a shower gel, face wash or foot bath. After a using it leaves you with a fresh relaxed feeling. Good thing is — it can be used before heading out to an event and you will not smell like a bag of peppermint but you feel clean and fresh. Just love it.
A product you feel good using
We’ve been using Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Oil Castile Soap for almost a year now. This stuff is concentrated! I appreciate its no nonsense packaging and economy of size. Great value. The list of oils in it’s ingredients is something else. Truly a product I feel good using. We use it in a foam dispenser, mixed about 1:1 with water. We use it to wash hands at the bathroom sink and for use in the shower by dispensing the soap foam on a loofa. I also use the foam for shaving. Good lather. As others have noted, the peppermint oil gives a great tingly feeling. Happily, this soap does not dry out my skin. Our two boys say it works better than normal soap on their acne. It may be coincidental but a mild yet persistent case of athletes foot on my left foot had cleared up within a few weeks of using this soap. I tried the product as a shampoo but it doesn’t work well, perhaps some acidic ingredient needs to be added for it to work well as a shampoo. My wife also likes using it as a cleaner in the bathroom. Recommended.
