When air Canada LOST our strollers while travelling with 4 under 4 having this in my diaper bag was ESSENTIAL. I purchased a different brand for my girl twin and this one was better quality. My only regret was not purchasing an extra one for my 3 year old. So glad I panic purchased this because I would not have survived the airport without this.

I like the backpack more than the wrist one. The wrist one they can go like 8ft away from you, so could easily run into traffic but with the backpack and leash, not so much. Can easily stop them. I use the backpack outside and wrist for inside stores.

This is a great toddler leash ! The backpack is so cute and the leashes are also great quality ! This was so handy to have during a race weekend ! Definitely kept my 2 year old from getting hit by any vehiclesâ¦â¦ heâs a runner !

Versatile and Adaptable
I love the versatility of this item, that it is adaptable according to your situation and designed to deal with kids who think they are Houdini with good lock designs.This can be used in 4 different ways. I mostly appreciate the backpack design because it allows your child to have two free hands. The backpack is small and light, but comes with a chest lock that you can lock with a key if you have a child who wants to try and open the buckle. The shoulder straps have padding so itâs comfortable and there is a small pouch on the back for a couple small items, such as a snack or wipes or some sunscreen.At the bottom of the backpack is a hook that is well sewn in and you can decide which strap you want to use as your leash. The basic strap requires you to hold it or you can slip the end around your wrist, but it is still removable. This is great if youâre not the only one with the child and want to take turns with who holds the leash. Your child has some freedom when walking but is still kept close to you and safe from getting lost.The second option is to use the wrist link, which allows you to hook onto the ring on the backpack and then wrap the other end around your wrist so that your hands are more available.The third way that this can be used is by going from wrist to wrist and not using the backpack. This does restrict your child’s hand a little but, but is nicer then them having to hold your hand the whole time. The wrist strap is well padded so that it will not hurt and is adjustable for various size wrists. If you have a child who understands buckles then you can lock the buckle. I especially love that the key to the lock is built into the parentâs wrist band so that you donât have to fear forgetting it or losing it somewhere.The fourth way this item can be used is to just use the backpack. Great for carrying a couple little things.This item is well put together and made a quality material. The design has been well thought out and allows for a good variety of options.
I purchased this because my 3 year old autistic grandson jerked away from me and took off running on a busy shopping center sidewalk. I was terrified and thankfully able to keep him from running into the parking lot but it took years off my life!I decided to find something to keep him from being able to run and u found this backpack.I did alot of research and read alot of comments before deciding to order this one and I’m so glad that I did!This has been so helpful! Everything is great quality, it fits perfect and ge loves it! The dinosaur on it is adorable and makes him feel like he’s just putting on a regular backpack. I love that there is a lock on the buckles si that he can’t take them off and the key is attached to the parents wrist band so it can’t be lost.I definitely recommend this to any parent or grandparent who wants to make their child is safe. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do and allows him to walk like a big boy while also allowing me to stop him from running.

The main dislike is that the carabiner latches to the kids side. It makes sense why it should but seems to defeat the purpose if someone picks up my kid and detached it. It should be moot point cause that means I wasn’t watching my kid and this thing is supposed to give kids a tiny bit of freedom. My kid would run away anywhere if let go.Anyways my kid hates it cause he wants more than a tiny bit of freedom so that means this product works
My child has sensory issues and wouldn’t keep the wristband or backpack on for more than a couple minutes, and even that took effort. Will give to someone who can get use out of it, but be cautious about trying if your child has sensory issues, etc.
Naught this for the airport and use it all the time, my 17 month old is really big for his size with crazy energy, and being pregnant not I can let him walk on his own without chasing him all over the place, which has come in handy a lot. Especially at the airport with him needing to get out some energy!
