Used and stained…
The product arrived with stains and grass in the sleeping area… very unhappy with this. It was very obviously used, returned, and not checked before being sent to me. The assembly instructions are horrible, might as well not use them and figure it out yourself. Otherwise looks like a fine Bassinet… would have been a lot happier if it didn’t have these gross stains and they cared more about the quality of what they send to their customers.
This is perfect for a safe in between of co sleeping / safe sleep space. I loved the first one I bought so much that I bought a second for my best friend when she had her baby. Itâs portable enough we were able to take it camping with us. Easy enough to assemble, sturdy, easy to clean. 10/10
When the side is zipped down, it leans towards that side. But I still leave that side down for easy access in the middle of the night. My baby is old enough that even though she wiggles around and ends up pressed against the side that leans down, she can move her head to breathe and itâs never been a problem. I wouldnât leave the side down if she were less than three months old because of that lean. Iâd be worried sheâd get stuck with her face against the side and not be strong enough to move it.But leaving the side down is truly a huge help for nighttime feeding! The instructions for assembly are not very clear, and there are two mysterious extra straps never referenced in the instructions at all.Overall, this bassinet has saved me a lot of trouble at night and I love being able to see her and pull her into my bed easily at night, but itâs got some design flaws.
First – this thing is great. My daughter actually sleeps in it. It only took one or two nights to get her used to it.There are some minor things I would change, however. Mostly, I wish it was taller. Even on its highest setting, our bed is taller than the bassinet, so it can be difficult to feed her or put her down from the bed. Because of that awkward angle, sometimes Iâve tried to rest my head on the side bar (I mean come on, itâs 4:00 am), and it will start tipping some. It also rocks/shakes a lot when my baby girl is being real fidgety. It also has a wider base than others Iâve seen. All in all, I do really enjoy this one! My complaints are minor but still worth noting.
I liked it looks wise and space wise. We were unable to use it because it leaned too much and she rolled to her side. It also took up more space than I thought I measured. I also thought it would slide under the bed a little but it didn’t. We returned it with no problems.
We got this initially as a last minute thing because the fiancé wanted something that would make nursing easier at night. The only problem is, it slants to one side, and our baby rolls on her side when it does, and it worries us that sheâs going to put her face into the side of the bassinet. Itâs too short to prop on our bed as well to prevent this. Weâve tried propping it underneath with different things and sometimes it manages to work, other times does not. All together we stopped using it due to our safety concerns and have moved her into a pack and play bassinet for the time being.
