Great for keeping cats out of your cupboards!
Bought these child safety locks to keep cats out of our kitchen cabinets and they have done a fantastic job over the past year.The cats will still attempt to open our cupboard doors but these locks have ensured that they will not get in.The mechanism to open & close is very easy to use.The only real frustrating part of these locks is that I do have to use them to keep my pesky cats our of the kitchen cupboards (and one bathroom cupboard in the basement) but I cannot dock a point from the seller for that.If you have pets that can open your cupboards I 100% recommend this product to keep them out.

A deceptively simple design, strong and effective
Glad I bought the biggest size they had. My hand is about 8″ long, so I hoped these would fit my ancient bathroom cabinets, and they just barely do! If they’re only clicked a couple of times, my son can yank the cabinet open, so if you have a similarly large gap between your handles, make sure to seat the clasp as deeply as possible.The lock mechanism itself is quite stiff and tricky at first. It takes practice and decent hand strength to remove the clasp one-handed. The lock also works on my china cabinet with round pull handles, with the benefit of not having to completely remove the clasp to open the doors.It doesn’t work for my kitchen sink cabinet. The space between the counter and clasp is so tight, I could barely squeeze my finger in between to take it off. A quadrupled rubber band is my solution until I find a more suitable lock for that particular application.Overall, I’m pleased with how well-designed these locks are, and the grade of plastic is a good balance of strong and flexible. I would definitely buy this again as a baby shower gift or recommend to friends who are struggling to find an effective lock style.

Only thing that fits
I have a dresser with doors that cannot be child-proofed without the extra-long lock. Had it not been for this, I would’ve needed to drill holes in the doors and make a complicated arrangement.

A must for every new parent
Don’t underestimate your children! These are a must have!

Sturdy for use in my classroom to prevent unwanted access to cupboards. Function as intended. Good value.

These child safety locks are great. Installation is quick easy and simple. I don’t even think I read the instructions. It’s a simple as taking the lock and pressing the two handles to slide the end of the lock off and put it around the knob. Then take the end and slide into place. Once it clicks and it can no longer slide forward then you’ll know that the lock is secure. I especially love that I don’t need to press and hold the handles to lock it in place. To avoid having to constantly put the back piece on after opening it I slide the end piece back enough that will allow me to remove the lock and put the lock back easily. It works great for knobs and handles that are 8 inches or less apart. It’s made of plastic and seems flimsy but looks like it will hold up. I’ll update with any changes. I am 100% sold on this product!
