Medical Hospital technology is now available at home! I recently purchased the Contactless Smart Baby Breathing Monitor and am incredibly impressed with its features. The touch-screen display is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to monitor my baby’s real-time heart rate and sleep patterns. The WiFi connectivity allows me to keep track of my baby anywhere and anytime (per the OnSky mobile app), providing peace of mind when I am not in the room. I love that the monitor is contactless, providing a non-invasive way to keep an eye on my little one. Overall, I highly recommend this baby breathing monitor to any parent who is looking for a reliable and innovative solution to monitor their baby’s health and well-being.
Had to return it price and product packaging instructions and mobile app are at a distance to the price its sold for, there is definitely a market for it keep up with the enhancements .
Pros:-Seems to give accurate readings, when it actually reads.-Alerts either by vibrating or beeping loudly, again when it actually reads.-Has an emergency button that if connected to the app, will notify 3 emergency contacts you choose.-Saves history.-Baby does not have to wear it, so itâs easy to use.-Screen/device still works without app or Wi-Fi-With app, you can see everything from your phone.Cons:-Expensive!!-Takes longer than I like to begin picking up breathing readings & body temperature. Iâve used it twice so far and the second time I used it, I waited 20 minutes before it registered the breathing. In that time it never registered body temp. The delay time is unacceptable for how expensive it is & how much itâs failing to provide the sense of security.-Instructions arenât too thorough, nor do they explain the app well.-In order to use the app, you need the device linked by wifi or Bluetooth.-Itâs touch screen & did not always read when I was pressing it.
This was a good choice for our baby Nephew, who stays over when we have family at our country home some weekends. My Wife and I were actually big on using owlet products in the past. But we have family members that had some concerns about any sort of wearable device. As well as concerns over EMF radiation.I’m neither a pediatrician nor a scientist, so don’t take my words as any sort of medical or professional advice. But in the research that I did on owlet products, I’ve read that the EMF radiation emitted from the sock (since it sends a signal at all times) is supposedly low. Much lower than that from cellphones. That being said, though. we do have family members that had concerns about those kinds of signals altogether. Especially if it’s something that an infant is exposed to. So personally, my Wife and I weren’t opposed to the use of an owlet for our Daughter when she was just a baby. But I can appreciate another parent’s concern over that. When it doubt, it doesn’t hurt to simply not use that type of product. And that’s where the DreamBe comes into play.Supposedly you don’t get the same type of EMF levels from this that you would from the wearable sock. And that was good enough for our Nephew’s parents. We did have some issues getting the app to properly function at first. But ultimately once we got it to work, there were no other issues. The results were just as expected, and just as described by OnSky. I’m on the fence as to whether or not we’d personally give up a wearable device in the future for any LO of our own. But it does seem to work fine, and it does offer our family members peace of mind when it comes to their own.
It’s a lot of work to set this up and connect to wifi. I also find the readings not very accurate and you need to have it plugged into and outlet so you need it near a wall outlet.
