I really wanted it to work! They are cute. First one arrived and it will wind up but arms do not move unless you manually unwind it. I returned and ordered a second one thinking it was a one off but second one wound up but wouldnât even unwind.
They also will flop around on a wood floor if you set them down after winding them up. I got them for my four-year-old great niece and she used them in the bathtub and had so much fun. They were bigger than I expected them. Very cute.
My great grandchildren came to visit and we watched âFinding Nemoâ and they said Gramma Toby we want a little sea turtle like âSquirtâ. So when I saw these I bought two of them, and the greats have had hours of tub-time-fun with their âSquirtâ! Colorful, well made and they go like the dickens upon the water.
I am so glad that I got these as a gift for my 2 YO niece. These are much bigger than I was expecting (I placed a remote beside one of the turtles for a size comparison). They even look cute when you open the box and they are looking up at you! Super cute and would highly recommend!

My 3-year-old granddaughter loved this toy on her visit last summer. She chased it around the pool in her Disney princess swim trainer vest and had a blast. Her daddy had to help her wind it up, but next summer she’ll probably be able to do it herself.
