When you first apply it, it has a scent reminiscent of gasoline, but that quickly fades away. Itâs much smaller than I expected. However, itâs the best primer Iâve ever used on my 55-year-old skin. My makeup stays on all day. I will definitely buy it again.
ELF primer and conceal
I took a chance on buying ELF poreless face primer, when I put the cream on my face, it felt so very soft,, and it was very easy to spread on your face, it also does help a little to cover pores, I wouldnt say completely, but its very soft on your face.

I liked how this felt on the skin, nice texture and easy to use. I don’t know if it really made my makeup look better… maybe a little. Good overall
More oily compared to other primers
Iâve tried the power grip primer and loved it but found it left my skin sticky. This one is definitely more oily feeling but still holds my makeup well throughout the day. If I had to choose between the 2 though, I think Iâll stick with the power grip.

SMELLS STRAIGHT UP LIKE GASOLINE and INELIGIBLE FOR AN EXCHANGE OR REFUND… WTF?!?!
Thought i would give this a try but it smells VERY STRONGLY like gasoline. At first i thought that maybe it sat in some delivery truck and somehow (???) picked up bad fumes but it continues to absolutely reek like gas and there is no way i will put this any where near my face let alone try it. I’m even more upset that for some reason it is ineligible for a refund or return. Absolute waste of my money and it’s going into the trash…. in the bin marked ‘highly flammible’!
Let me start by saying I have tried all kinds of facial primers. Low to high price. I have spent alot of money and wasted alot of money. I love in florida, so I dont like foundation or powders. They don’t do well with the heat and humidity. Doing alittle shopping around and thought the price was good, have seen other elf products do why not? Love this primer, covers pores and other imperfections without using it with heavy foundations. I found a winner. Quality, low price!!
This goes on very smoothly and provides an excellent result. My foundation has never looked better. Usually, when I use primer, my foundation gets flaky, no matter if I use liquid or pressed foundation. I have extremely dry skin. I moisturize first, then apply the primer and let it sit for a few minutes then foundation. I am so pleased with the result. No more expensive primers for me!
I was a bare minerals primer user for years until they switched the formulas. I have tried so many brands since and none have came close to this one! It gives me the same results as the OG bare minerals primer.. so smooth and velvety under my makeup application. So happy to have found this!
