Great puzzles for beginners.
The puzzles are exactly as they advertise, super for beginners like me. Love the book.
Stress-free puzzling
Perfectly titled. The puzzles are easy as pie. I do crosswords to relax my mind and feel a sense of accomplishment and these fit that requirement to my satisfaction. As a bonus the spiral bound edition I got has high quality paper that doesnât let ink bleed through the pages. The book is nice and big and has one puzzle per page so I can work on it without wearing my reading glasses.

Love these crosswords. About my fifth one. Easy, but a it of a challenge. Perfect for me.
I got one of the crossword books that they sell at the drugstore and was immediately lost. It was definitely not for beginners and as a young person, a lot of the references were before I was born. This book is still challenging from a beginner’s viewpoint but just as fun. Also loved the spiral-bound aspect of the book I got, makes it way easier to do and keeps the book intact. Excited to finish and get all the other versions.
PROS: I love the spiral binding and that the entire puzzle, clues and all are on the same page. This is so much better than your traditional soft cover crossword. The clues are fairly easy but still stump you now and then which make for a fun puzzle that is possible to finish. CON: I guess if I had a complaint it would be that the clue doesn’t indicate how many words the answer is and that can be confusing. But once you do a handful you understand the author’s way of thinking and they become easier.
Just getting started with this series and having a ball. I started with the Cheesecake which was quite easy. This one is easy too but also challenging. Doing at least two puzzles a day and look forward to going through the whole series. Love the spiral binding! Best crossword puzzles I have ever done.
I refer to this crossword book as the âCheese Cakeâ puzzle. Itâs certainly more challenging than the âBlueberry Pieâ puzzle book, but still easy enough that I didnât become frustrated. Cheesecake has less repetitive clues, just a few. I gave myself a pass on the clues that I knew wouldnât know the answers to such as âIrelandâs nicknameâ which I never knew it had a nickname! Nevertheless, this puzzle book is a little more difficult. I had to work harder, think a little deeper for the answers…. a great mental workout!
