Fabulous little device that blocks out/covers up any annoying noises, sounds, and most vibrations.Has a large number of sounds, ie: rain falling, industrial fan sound, ocean waves, and some soft, soothing piano tunes, among other tones and sounds. The light is also a great addition and is very soothing and calming and provides a soft glow.Awesome little gadget that has been great at covering up an annoying motor hum noise that has infiltrated the neighborhood here. Super happy with this purchase and one that has greatly helped with my falling asleep. A+!

I couldn’t believe the range of sound effects available! Helps me shut out the world and I’ve absolutely slept better and more deeply since getting it. Good range in volume and in play length of time (can choose 1hr, 2hr, 4hr, or continual) and has a nightlight if you want it.

Great product!
My wife and I have been using various ‘white noise apps’ on our mobile devices for some time. When they work uninterrupted, they do an admirable job, however…The noise would sometimes stutter or switch off altogether at the most inconvenient times. It seemed to be when an update of some kind was occurring overnight. Nothing I did, in terms of controlling notifications, seemed to work and that is why I chose this product, which turned out to be a great decision.The night-light option is an added bonus, but the various types of noise playback are faultless. We love it!I highly recommend this product.

I ended up returning this for a better sounding white noise machine that not only sounded better, didn’t have the light on the bottom but also had a better selection of sounds and baby lullabies.

I got hooked on sleeping with a fan on while I was in my late teens and I’ve been sleeping like that pretty much ever since. I work in broadcasting and a near lifetime of wearing headphones has (probably) contributed to my having tinnitus, which is quite the blessing to have (that should be read with sarcasm, BTW).As a result of that, I have a “hiss” which quite literally never leaves me. Trying to sleep in a very quiet environment is far more of a challenge because the sickening truth about tinnitus is that the more silent things are around you, the louder the “hiss” or “ringing” is in my ears and it becomes noticeably more pronounced. I find that without a fan or white noise machine, sleeping is difficult and made even worse by my crippling, life-long insomnia.I’ve had 2 different white noise makers in the past, but this one is quite a bit smaller, at least by 50% than those other ones, and I like that. It still delivers the sound that I need and can even do so much louder than its size would initially lead you to believe – another plus. It comes with instructions, but to be totally honest, the controls are pretty straightforward and I figured it out without opening them within a couple moments, so don’t worry that it’ll be too difficult to operate. I can’t really comment on the other sounds that it can play because I use the “fan” sound and that’s all I use, so keep that in mind.Long story short, great device, great price and even looks cool on my bedside table. I am very happy with mine.

I just received this sound machine. I spent about 6 hours looking at and comparing sound machines before I settled on this particular model. It has a good number of sounds for the money I spent. It also had a $4.00 off coupon at the time I purchased it. But there were no agreements about positive reviews in exchange for the coupon. I’m not getting any type of remuneration for this review or the purchase of the product. I have no connections whatsoever with the manufacturer or the seller of this product, or any employee of either. The only connection I have is my purchase of the product with my own money, and with a clearly marked $4.00 coupon on the item page. I will not receive a refund for a review either.I haven’t used it for sleeping yet, so I’ll have to come back and update in a month or so after I’ve used it for awhile but honestly when I listen to it, it’s loud enough to drown out the garbage truck, and the thump thump of bass music playing in cars going by, as well as other household noises.This machine is made of a lightweight plastic but does not feel delicate or flimsy. The one I bought is white with dark grey markings on the buttons. It has an orange light in the bottom of the unit which I don’t need, but if you need a nightlight it is a nice feature. I turned it off right away.Using a regular old fashioned wooden ruler the top and bottom measure right about 4 inches, and it stands almost 2 inches tall. It has 4 little rubberized type pads about 1/3 inch wide on the bottom. They should be able to prevent most slipping and sliding but if you need a firmer non slip some velcro ought to work or one of those non skid things made to put under carpet corners. There any number of ways to prevent slipping. Like I said it’s rubbery enough that it should prevent most slippage.The only drawback I can see is it takes one of those round plug ins. So you can’t use just any USB power cord. This has a USB cord but has that pin type end that plugs into the side of the machine.It’s not a deal breaker, but you can’t just pull out one of those USB cords, to replace it, that I’m sure everyone has in their junk drawer. LOL. A power brick is included which is very nice because you won’t have to juggle charging your phone, tablet , laptop and etcetera with using the sound machine all night. Cudos for an included power brick!So I got this little machine for $15.00 and change plus tax.I just opened the box, and removed the power brick and the power cord and plugged all of it up and in. The power button is clearly visible, and easy to press. The buttons are a good size and far enough apart that someone with big hands and fingers can press each button without pressing other buttons at the same time. Cudos to the person who designed this machine for the well thought out placement of the buttons. The buttons do NOT light up, so if you need buttons that light up go with a different machine. I don’t require light up buttons so they’re fine for me.Honestly even kids could operate this sound machine without instructions. I figured it out in a couple of minutes, without looking at the instructions, but I had them nearby just in case.The buttons are arranged in a semicircle around the top of the machine just above the speaker which is in the center of the top. It’s a nice sized speaker. Each button is clearly marked with the operation it is for. I ran through all the sounds for which there are forward and backwards buttons, so you can go through the sounds from either direction. I need reading glasses and I could see these marking fine without reading glasses. Each button is a little over 3/4 an inch, and the speaker grill is approximately 2 inches wide and circular in shape, and it sits directly in the center on the top. There are 5 indicator lights that reflect the timer if you choose to use that function and they are a very bright white color when in use.The timer function can be set easily by turning the machine on a pressing the button with a clock face, and can be set for 1,2,3 or 4 hours, or infinite play with no time limit.The volume up and down buttons are clearly marked, and to go either up and down in volume doesn’t take a lot of clicks. There is a comfortable increase of sound for each click. Cudos for that also. I’ve bought items before that take many many clicks to get to a good volume.
