Its low foam, no residue formula is safe for use in high efficiency or standard washing machines. One 3l bottle will wash 100 loads. Ecology certified and safe to use around pets and children. Non toxic to aquatic life and not tested on animals. Gentle to skin and fabrics and produces negligible indoor air pollution. Eco Max is my family’s go-to laundry detergent, over time we’ve gradually shifted the majority of our consumable household products to more natural, better-for-you choices. We really like Eco Max, because not only does it do a good job cleaning, but it doesn’t leave any harsh chemicals or overwhelming smells on your clothes. It always bothered us when we’d use a product like Tide or Gain and it would be completely overwhelming and smell unnatural. With Eco Max, we’re just left with a very subtle smell of natural oranges or lavender, that we know is safe for us and our kids. Feel good knowing it contains no petroleum based solvents, alcohol, phosphates, nitrates, silicates, potassium hydroxide, optical brighteners, dyes or artificial fragrances.I’ll admit it doesn’t do as good a job of cleaning as the chemical heavy brands, but it’s a small price to pay for a product you can feel good about using in my opinion. I would recommend boosting performance with laundry soda (I use Simply Clean) and natural stain removers such as the one made by Attitude or Dapple Baby.I’ve never had a problem with packaging, the lid is always carefully taped on to prevent leaks.

This detergent is one that I purchase on a regular basis.Just a hint of natural orange scent,ððð definitely not overpowering.Good price here at Amazon.Ingredients are comparable to Nature Clean, another brand that I have bought many times.Cruelty free.Cleans very well, especially for a more natural product like this one is.Huge bottle, lasts a long time.

Good product, bad shipping
When the product arrives usable, it has a very mild orange scent and does not need to be diluted with unscented detergent to be appropriate for my particular environmental sensitivities (YMMV, sensitivities are very individual). It cleans well, even when using tap cold setting on my front-load machine.However, this product is not eligible for return or replacement and one out of the two bottles arrived broken and missing quite a bit of detergent (most of which was in the bag with it). At least the plastic bag itself mostly kept the detergent in, and it was only a bit sticky on the outside.

I had never tried the orange scent before, but since the lavender was not on sale, I decided to give this one a try. It has a natural orange scent that doesnât smell artificial. While itâs nice, I find it unusual because dish soap is typically citrus-scented. Once the clothing is dry, the scent is very light, which is something I appreciate. Overall, I believe it’s a good value for the money.
