Soft, comfy – for pregnancy and well into postpartum
Love this. Got the dark green and itâs like a deep cool forest green. The material has a weight to it, so it flows nicely. Used it during pregnancy, at the hospital, and I am 9m postpartum and Iâm still using it. It is perfect for breastfeeding, and looks appropriate while walking around the house (I donât feel like Iâm wearing lingerie around my kids lol). I will probably wear this even after I stop breastfeeding. For reference, I am 5â2â, I am 166lbs now, I was 206lbs while pregnant ( and all belly lol ). I ordered the L and it comes to my knees (doesnât feel like a mini dress). The sleeves are full and come to my elbow. And as mentioned before, the weight of the material falls so nicely. Boobs (38C) are fully covered. Just note, there is no support to this for the girls. I donât mind and a wear a bralette when I want support.Overall I would recommend !!!
Amazing!
I absolutely loved wearing this in the hospital when I had my baby! So comfy and practical.Just wish it was a bit longer, but other than that it was perfect. Love the colour selection too! I think I’ll treat myself to a new one with each baby I have â¤ï¸
Comfortable
I only wore this gown a few times as I ordered a pretty large size to accommodate my bump and anticipated c-section recovery. It was really comfortable and stretchy.. made nursing really easy and check ups from nurses while still staying covered. Definitely recommended as recovery gown. Quality in stitching is my only complaint.
Loved
This was great to wear after my C-section. Easy access for breast feeding and made it easy for the nurses to check my incision. Also very comfortable and much nicer than a hospital gown. I continued to wear it once home as well!
Beautiful color
Bought in my original size to take to the hospital with me. The color is beautiful. Size seems to be good. Excited to wear this after delivery. However, the elastic under the bust is uncomfortable because it it too tight (probably my expanded ribs right now?). It just sits in an uncomfortable position. This is probably a ‘me problem’; I have a very long torso and things never seem to fit me properly because the waist line always needs to be lower for me. I seem to have to shimmy around a lot more than I thought to utilize the nursing access of the gown – might not be good for skin-to-skin, but good for modesty. Overall though, I am excited to feel at least a little cute after delivery, and this gown does that while offering coverage and a discrete slit in the front (someone mentioned this was good for the nurses to access their C section incision).
Great
I wore this thing out when I was pregnant and post partum. I wish I bought more it’s so comfortable and so great for breast feeding
Great for prenatal appointments
I wear this with leggings (otherwise it’s a bit short for my preference even though I’m only 5″2) to all my prenatal appointments and it’s been awesome. It has large sleeves that are easy to move out of the way for blood pressure cuffs, and the front easily opens to expose your belly, which is perfect for ultarsounds/listening to baby’s heart rate/any fetal monitoring you need. I feel like it provides great access for the doctors while I still feel covered. This will definitely fit larger chested people and is a bit too big for me. Thankfully, my nursing bra (which I’m wearing as a maternity bra) isn’t very revealing, so I don’t mind it peaking out in the middle of the v neck (it helps that they’re both black fabric so it’s not very noticeable). I also think this is going to make it an excellent breastfeeding/skin-to-skin gown. I don’t think I look great in it – I prefer a snugger fit if fashion is the goal, but it’s so functional, you need at least one of these in your wardrobe! I can only imagine just how useful this will be post-partum (and I’m going to see if my dr thinks it will be good to labour in).
It’s Comfy But Not Especially Cute
Bought this for my daughter to wear in the hospital and at home after her first baby was born in July. The positives are that it is very soft and comfy (which is the most important thing) and that it could act as a day dress as well. It opens easily for her to nurse which is a huge plus. The blue is a nice soft blue. It’s a bit “frumpy” though; not super complimentary. If you don’t care about being a cute post partum mom it’s great.
Ordered this labor gown in size XL in the Eleanor option (black with white flowers). I’m currently 8 months pregnant and my measurements are 40C, 45″ hips. I’m 5’4″ and this gown comes down below my knees. Love how stretchy and soft the material is. There is elastic band underneath the bust area that’s not constricting. Love how stretchy the material is to pull down for breastfeeding. I plan on bringing this gown to wear while sleeping in the hospital after labor and birth; it will also be great to wear around the house while breastfeeding.
The quality of this is fantastic, the material is thick and the style was perfect for my hospital stay. I didnât use this until I got into the post partum unit in the hospital because labor was messy and Iâm so glad I did that because that hospital gown got changed at least 6 times. It made me feel comfortable, and helped me feel more like myself after giving birth. If your considering it, do it. Itâs the perfect pajama for your hospital stay.
It confortavle until you wash it and then it shrinks:/Maybe air dry it?!
Little too short for me otherwise I like it
I wore this for all parts of delivery besides the actual birthing part. I donât recommend wearing it for that. I didnât get an epidural, but I was supposed to so I had to remove it for that process that didnât occur and ended up in a hospital gown anyway. It was better that way so when they plopped my screaming, bloody newborn on my chest the comfy gown didnât get covered in⦠fluids. I wore it my entire hospital stay and several times after that during my recovery. Very nice.
