Love these! Durable and not plastic or silicone
The silicone sleeve around the porcelain plate does a good job of protecting the product when it is dropped. Itâs good quality and thick, making it durable. Works perfectly for us I use these plates at every mealtime. Love not having to use plastic or silicone! Expensive but worth it. I donât miss the suction cups, baby learned the plate stays on the tray/table.
Best Plates
Best plates to use for babies, can go in the dishwasher which makes it super easy for clean up. No suction and slightly heavy, but works well for my daughter. Colours are pastels and are just what I was looking for.
Kids love them
We were skeptical with the plastic plates we were initially using as they retained some of the previous oily food or soapy taste. These plates are great – we’ve been using them everyday for 6+ months and they are holding up very well. The plates are heavy enough, along with the silicon edge to keep the plates in place.
Great product/safer-cleaner for children
Theyâre great and way better to use then silicone and itâs not safe to use. And I love how theyâre glass however just watch if your child is a dish thrower. My son threw his 2 times and shattered in a week. We have 2 left and has phased out of throwing dishes. I do wish was not as expensive and maybe a little deeper plate. But still great!Highly recommend!
Love these plates
Fun colours and easy to clean. At first, i was skeptical whether the silicone sleeve will protect the plate from shattering on the floor if dropped. But when my baby dropped it on the tile and hardwood, both times the plate has been just fine, no damage.
Heavy
I love how sturdy these are. My baby can’t hold it yet and even when she can, there’s protective silicone around it which adds cute colour to the mealtime experience. The ceramic means she won’t be tasting anything but the food on her plate.
Im a tough critic.
These plates are excellent. Theyâre light weight, easy to wash & cute. I will say they are on the smaller side. More of a salad plate size but overall I love them.
Didnât come with suction base
EDIT: DO NOT order expecting to get suction silicone covers. We ordered AGAIN with an image/variation that clearly shows suction base and it came without it. Most likely theyâve discontinued that version and havenât updated photos.We love elk and friends products but this one was a super flop, I purchased the colour set that I was least interested in simply because it was the only one that showed it had the suction base, and it still came without the suction base.So if anyone is wanting to order, donât bother checking which one comes with the suction base, itâs clearly none of them anymore.
Bought this to minimize plastic use and also our silicone plates were smelling like soap. Love love these. Hold up well, they wash up perfect.
Get these! I had wooden plates that sucked. These are great! Doesn’t matter that they don’t suction because I can always catch if these are going to get tossed. Little one only has access during meal times when I am present and attentive anyway.
They are on the pricier side but they are kid friendly, the quality is there and theyâre super cute specially if you have the cups to go with the set. I also love that you can put them in the dishwasher and havenât had any problems with them. Thereâs no scratches yet from my kids use. These donât suction so if you want something that sucks these arenât it.
I love these plates so much!! They are perfect! I had been on the fence about ordering these for a while, and once I saw that they had upgraded the pumpers to include suction I went all in! The suction works great.. I attached a picture of me sticking it to our fridge! All based on the material you stick it to, like any suction plate, but it works great on our daughterâs high chair! She has the boon grub high chair for reference. Like other suction, they donât stick well to any type of textured surface, but that is typical with all suction products, just add a little water under and they work perfectly. I got both the toddler and the baby size and we love the baby size for our 7 month old. It is just big enough and still fits on her high chair great. If you were only wanting one though, I would just go ahead and get the toddler size. I attached a picture with them compared to a small pouch. They are super easy to clean since you can put them in the dishwasher and since they are non porous they wonât taste like soap or any other foods like silicone plates will! The colors and aesthetic of the plates are beautiful as well!! I just love everything about them! Being that most high quality silicone plates are at least $10 a plate, you can beat the price of these plates! And so much longer lasting since they wonât stain or smell. If you have been on the fence about them like I have, GET THEM! You wonât regret it!! Customer service is also 5 stars and I will keep buying from this brand because of it! We had a minor issue with one of our toddler plates, and I reached out to check if it would affect the functionality of the plate. They were so quick to apologize and send a replacement! I love everything about this product and this company!!
So happy with these plates! Bought the bowls and utensils, too, and have loved them all. Good quality, durable, and love that the eating surface isnât plastic or silicone, but the outer silicone covering keeps it from being breakable. Very happy with this purchase.
