LIGHTWEIGHT & COMPACT: Easily rolls up and stores in diaper bag

Very sturdy and great for newborns and babies up to 9 months
Ordered this to help carry my baby around while doing tasks and for those occasions when baby didnât want to stay in the stroller. It is super comfy for both parents and babies, the material is very breathable and doesnât not make you or your child sweat. The straps are adjustable for any height and weight and it really helps relieve back pain from carrying baby around all the time. However, I did find that it is better for smaller children up to 9 months old, afterwards it kind of pulls you down and puts more pressure on your spine that relieves it.
Awesome Carrier
We have quite a few carriers, the infantino flip, boba wraps and a ring one. This is our favorite carrier to date! While I loved the cloth wrap ones.. they are way too hot in the summer, especially if youâre using them for a long walk. They ring sling weâre still working on it but itâs not as comfy for us now that heâs 13 lbs. The infantino is fine but it was very structured for him and would rub on his skin so we decided to bit e the bullet and get a cloth carrier so it wouldnât irritate our babe as muchI was honestly shocked at how comfy this one is to wear, itâs so easy going on my shoulders and back. I walk 6 kns with him daily in this thing and my back doesnât hurt. Highly highly recommend if youâre thinking about purchasing carriers and you donât want to spend an outrageous amount. The money for this is well worth it!Although, I wish I would have looked into ergo baby a little more because if I didnât have all the other carriers I might of just went for the ergo baby 360. The only reason we didnât choose that one was the price tag. Looking back, if we have another kid, we will probably invest in the 360.One thing to also note. I donât do anything with this carrier but walk. Havenât quite mastered the skills to do thing a with him on me (dishes and vacuum.. bending down is also a struggle and a half) not sure if he would just hang out in the carrier either.. he mostly sleeps.Hope this was helpful in your carrier decision!
Great first carrier for littles ones under 3 months.
We have both the Embrace and the Omni 360 carriers, as well as the Keababies Wrap to compare and contrast – more on that in a bit. For the Embrace it’s very simple to put on! Cozy for newborn and Mom and Dad. Straps expand to fit many body types. However the shoulder straps really only have a good fit with narrow shoulder people. Height is not really the issue. So tiny parents will be happy. Straps properly fit 5’0, 130 lb grandma great. However Mom and Dad here have broader shoulders (5’4 and 5’9) and while it fits fine in terms of strap length, the shoulder straps never stay at the shoulders. Instead they migrate towards our necks as we wear baby and move around. The material is very cozy, but almost too stretchy as other reviewers have said. Our little mutant could push herself several inches away from our body (within carrier) at just 6 weeks just using her arms for leverage, allowing her to effectively escape out the sides given enough time. Its not that we were worried she would just fall out randomly, but she could progressively work her way out the sides if so inclined. ErgoBaby should make the side straps wider to help prevent this escape route (and/or reduce the material stretch).Compared to Keababies Wrap: I watched my wife use the wrap a few times with our little one and was like hell no, I’ll be trying to get that on for 30 minutes and spending the next 30 wondering if I’ve done it right. Wife also likes the Embrace more than the wrap so we never used the wrap after getting the Embrace.Compared to Omni 360: For the first 10 weeks (under ~12 lbs) we really preferred the Embrace over the Omni 360. However our little one actually seems to prefer the more structured Omni 360 post 10 weeks (~12 lbs) and it’s easier on Mom/Dad’s back. No way our little mutant escapes the 360. I’m sure we could make the embrace work for the first ~6 months, but we would only recommend it for a newborn. Given how stretchy the material is with a 10lb little one, I think most parents will be done with the Embrace by 15 lbs, so at like $80 CAD it’s OK value to test out if you like baby wearing, but if you do you’ll want a more structured carrier sooner than you think.
Perfect hybrid carrier
I have a wrap and a heavy duty baby carrier but I wanted something that was easy to put on but still gave me the support and comfort. Im a mom of two with a colicky 2 month old that needs to be carried a lot of the time. I found the wrap would start hurting my back and the heavy duty one was too bulky and complicated to put on in a rush. This carrier is super easy to put on, using one hand, and my 2 month old loves it so far. She fits perfectly and feels snug with good neck support. Itâs soft and light and I love the cream colour. I highly recommend if you are looking for a hybrid mix!
LOVE.
This is a great carrier Iâve been using it a ton since my daughter was about 2 months and she is 5.5 months now. Very easy to use by yourself, itâs comfortable. The fabric is soft. Quality is great and you can put it in the washing machine. Can be used forward facing also, I just think itâs not as comfortable she always has marks on her legs afterwards. But it is a great carrier! Definitely recommend
Not for tall babies
Did not like it as much as my other ergobaby.. i used it as advised and still my baby didnât fit well in it after 3 months..
Buena calidad, bonito
