Reviews

  1. So far – so great!
UPDATE AFTER 3 MONTHS* : We love this car seat. My babe is 99th percentile for height at 11.5 months and he is so comfortable and happy. The rotation is huge for us too and so convenient and smooth. Likely will buy a second one for grandparents!Did a ton of reviews before deciding on a seat, lots of great options out there. Selling points for us were the 360degree turn, extended opportunity to rear-face/benefits taller babies, and lots of options to grow with & keep a cozy fit. The smart buckle thing was just a bonus, we haven’t used the app yet but cool to know the option is there. Wait for a sale! Also — the attachment at the groin is ADJUSTABLE. Saw lots of reviews complaining it was too tight on their babe’s thighs. Read the manual or watch YouTube tutorials. This seat is super comfortable and highly adjustable. We have a 98th %tile babe and he is loving it.

  2. useful
very useful, i mean the rotation part, setup is also easy as well, just follow the online video to setup

  3. The most accessible car seat
After reviewing, reviewing and reviewing car seat recommendations online, in person and weighing the pros and cons we settled on the Revolve360 Gold Extend. I did go see it first in person as well at WCK to see beyond the videos and tutorials how to extend/revolve/change positions.Let’s just say, this thing is a game changer and the base install was absolutely a no brainer and it installs WELL. It is super tight and takes no time at all compared to our infant seat (Nuna Pipa). It is easy to adjust even while the child is in the seat. As others have commented, the groin strap is adjustable. I use this seat in a captains chair and have no issues whatsoever with the size. I love that I don’t need to open the door wide to access the seat and I can access it from either side of the car. It has been an absolute game changer because I’ve been able to park just about anywhere. The seat is sturdy, and most importantly COMFORTABLE. This seat has an incredible lifespan on it and we will rear face it for as long as possible. I can’t recommend this seat enough and several friends have bought it too.

  4. it’s safe and convient
I will highly recommend this car seat as it’s really convenient when you put your baby into the car or take the baby out after rotating the car seat. Also, it has Bluetooth to connect with the mobile app that can alert you when you have the baby in the car but you are leaving it.

  5. Huge footprint, but so worth it!
This car seat has a large foot print. However, with the separate base it is super easy to install and using it is SO much easier! My little one seems super comfortable too. I really like that the shoulder strap height is adjustable without having to take the whole thing apart.

  6. Love the features but…
I do love the rotating features and how easy it was to install and that it will be with us for a long time while she grows. Our baby is 99% in height and so we had to switch out of the bucket seat early and I couldn’t imagine not having a rotating seat to get her in and out of.BUT For such an expensive option, I expected it to be made better. I noticed a small red mark on her chest and then discovered that the back of the plastic buckle where it wraps around metal prong is super sharp. I wrote the company about it and all they suggested was to use an emery board to file it down. In my opinion, it’s a major product design flaw especially where babies are involved.I do feel like there are less expensive rotating seats that we could have been happy with.

  7. Easy to install and use it
I really love this car seat this is game changer for us mom and babys

  8. Amazing
Amazing car seat well worth the money

  9. Our last child safety seat did not swivel. This is a game changer. Really well made, it’s easy to install and very easy to move the chair around to get a toddler in and out. It’s a great height to see out the car window easily too.

  10. Love the rotational feature, as my baby is very chubby and it’s hard to put him in the rear face position. Easy to install in the car and saved my back…

  11. +vei. Smooth 360 rotation (at full recline), rotates in both forward and rear facing mode.ii. Lifetime warranty on Sensor safe models (labeled Gold).iii. Alerts if chest clip is unbuckled.iv. Padded footrest (not available in the Slim version).v. Great price given functionality/warranty – (as low as $320 with deals, $110 off MSRP).vi. Easy install and uninstall doable by one person (as base fully separates from the seat).vii. Straightforward packing (reusable zip tie was a nice touch) and easy to follow manual/instructions.-vei. Of the 4 recline levels in rear facing mode, the 2 most reclined ones were not usable due to bubble being out of range. Even in the most upright position the bubble just reached the border of the greater than 20lb range. This was on a 2015 Subaru Forester rear seat (on level ground). The Subaru seats do slope a bit, but it would have been nice to have a solution which doesn’t require using towels or foam to raise the base on one side to try to get the bubble in the ideal range. I subsequently got the Graco Turn2Me and all 4 recline levels on that one were usable in both the rear facing and front facing modes (i.e. the bubble was in the allowed range).ii. The crotch area harness needs to be redesigned. Even in the uppermost of the 3 slots it was tight for a 17lb, 31” skinny girl (there was barely room for my fingers below the harness). I can see it being a problem for bigger kids, especially boys.iii. The rear seating position is awkward, the picture of the girl with her legs straight up is not poor marketing, that is how the seat is. Part of the problem is inherent in the use of any rear facing car seat on seats which were designed for adults to sit forward facing, but the position was not as awkward on our Doona car seat/stroller combo and Graco Turn2Me, so the Evenflo design does seem to make the seating position a bit worse.iv. The harness retract button is hidden under the seat cushion and you have to slide a finger through a hole in the cover to depress it. One can get used to it but it’s an annoyance and adults with shorter fingers won’t like it.v. No “Quick Clean” cover with Sensor Safe Gold warranty models.vi. Consumer Reports gave the previous generation (non-Extend Gold Revolve 360) a ‘Better’ safety rating while Graco Turn2Me got a ‘Best’ safety rating. Evenflo support (ParentLink) couldn’t provide any info on if this new Extend version had any safety improvements over the previous generation.vii. Evenflo has basic install and use videos but none on how to deal with installation challenges like the level bubble being out of range. Interestingly though Evenflo Revolve required use of towels to get recline bubble in ideal range and Graco Turn2Me didn’t, the Evenflo manual does not mention that trick, but Graco manual does. The Search through Evenflo website material is also poor (doesn’t find content on the site which external search engines like Google do).viii. Size limits how far back the seat in front can go, so taller adults wouldn’t be able to sit comfortably in front of this car seat in a 2015 Forester. There is a “Slim” version which is 3” narrower, 1.5” shorter, 1lb lighter with a $50 lower MSRP, but the interior seating in that is 2″ shorter & 2″ narrower and there is no padded leg rest or booster mode.

  12. My baby was hating his infant car seat so I decided to upgrade him to this. He has been so much better in it because he can sit up further while still rear facing and when he falls asleep I am able to recline it which is super nice! It has great padding and I love the all black! The swivel feature is so worth it to me because it can be hard to get your little in the car when they are fighting it!

  13. Love the seat so far! Very fast/easy to get baby in and out with out the awkwardness of putting them in sideways ! It does take up a bit more space than traditional rear facing infant seat when you have it in the smallest infant reclined position. I had to scoot front seat up a tad in order to rotate it with ease. As far as ease of rotation, very easy 1 handed! Baby seems very cozy, padded and secure. The Sensor Safe app was easy to set up too!
