Our coordinating Padded Travel Bag is designed to streamline trips with your Evenflo® Shyft™ DualRide™ Infant Car Seat and Stroller Combo. Lightweight and durable, our stylish polyester canvas travel bag features a reflective logo to add visibility in traffic and low light. Holding up to 20 lb., it pads and protects your Shyft DualRide stroller frame during flights, train rides and more. Loading your bag couldn’t be easier! Simply unzip the back for rear-loading and slide your Shyft DualRide into place using the wheels. Zip the bag up again and then flip up the Velcro wheel flaps to expose the DualRide’s wheels for one-hand rolling through the airport. Stairs and narrow aisles can be daunting, so we designed our storage bag to double as a backpack using the adjustable, padded straps. Just remove the straps from their hidden Velcro pockets, pull on and clip the adjustable chest clip into place. Ergonomic design helps to distribute the weight for less strain on your back and more comfortable carrying. We added a top handle for easy carrying. And because your hands are full enough already, 2 mesh pockets flank either side of the travel bag to hold your iced coffee or water bottle. We also included a handy plastic luggage tag for gate checks. I got this for our trip overseas and it is so good. Great quality and super easy to clean. Leaves your DualRide scratch free.
Pros:- Good quality, the bag is keeping the stroller damage free- You can carry the bag as a backpack, which is useful for getting through the airport before you put the stroller in it at the gate.Cons:- Weâve done 10+ flights, the bag already has some damage to the outer shell (at least it protected the stroller)- The bag has holes for the stroller wheels so it can be rolled, but we couldnât get this to work well enough to be usefulImportant: the bag doesnât fit the base. You will have to use the stroller without the base at destination (which takes an extra couple of minutes to fold and unfold, but is mostly fine)
The thing I like least is that it doesnât have room for the base. So if youâre traveling you will be forced to use the belt method to secure the baby seat. While this is possible, it is very cumbersome, hard for one person to do, and exceedingly difficult in small cars. For this reason, I would not buy this bag again. If I canât take the base the utility of this as a portable stroller is lacking when it comes to air travel. Otherwise, the bag is well cushioned but a tight fit.
