Great camera with a easy to use app for the money
I never heard of this brand before so I wanted to see if these were any good for the price. Having used it for a while, I can say the EZVIZ C6C 2K Starlight 360 Indoor Security Camera is an impressive and reliable addition for anyone looking for enhanced home monitoring without spending a fortune that’s easy to setup.With its 2K resolution and starlight night vision, it delivers crisp, clear footage in both daylight and low-light conditions, making it ideal for monitoring spaces around the clock. The 360-degree rotation is smooth and responsive, providing comprehensive coverage of larger areas, and the ability to pan and tilt remotely via the app offers a great level of control and flexibility that works really well.The motion detection is accurate and customizable, minimizing false alarms, while the two-way audio feature works well for quick check-ins or communication. The auto tracking feature works great and following a subject once it detects them. Setup is straightforward, and the camera integrates easily with smart home systems. I found the app to be pretty straight forward compared to others I’ve used and it gives you easy control of all settings and controls. The app offers live streaming, event notifications, and easy access to recorded footage.One feature I like is the ability to use memory cards to capture events as well as cloud storage. WIth many cameras now they tend to push the cloud storage to try and score subscriptions but you have the option here which is nice. Overall, the EZVIZ 2K Starlight camera delivers dependable performance and peace of mind for indoor security needs. I would recommend and plan to expand my system to more cameras.

Water and dust infiltration will be greatly minimized. The main sensor is hidden behind a clear acrylic housing. Same goes for the IR sensor and subsequent lighting module.The metal and PVC mount brake is also well designed with a modern aesthetic. The quality is strong allowing you to place the camera in many different positions. For optimal coverage of your den, kitchen sun room, entrance etc.The camera:The main sensor boast 2k resolution, This is half the resolution of 4k cameras. It offers more detail retrieval and crisper images then 1080p sensors. This allows for better recognition of small details such as clothing branding, shoe models, tattoos, logos, facial features and much more. Insuring law enforcement officers have the best chance at potentially catching criminal activity. The HDR performance is slightly better then other brands on the market. Allowing for greater detail retrieval in various lighting conditions.Night vision:You can see well enough in the dark. But it is designed for close to mid quarters use. So don’t expect a large or long throw beam pattern. It has optimal results within a 5 to 25 foot range. With a 2.0 sensor it can bring 0.5 lumen to an acceptable level. But this will come at the cost of overall image clarity. Since it will introduce ISO noise and some frame choppiness.Motion detection:A good motion sensor that works well at detecting humans vs other things such as animals ( cat or a dog ) for example. The system can also intelligently detect faces. Even following them down the hallway. You can also adjust the sections ware it can detect movement. This will allow you to accurately define witch zones are active and passive. Providing you with peace of mind and helping the A.I algorithm to find its sweet spot. This subsequently will prevent false triggering and help with notification fatigue. But don’t worry you can also adjust these settings in the app.Tracking:This unit can accurately detect and track moving objects. One of this models stand out features is it’s tilt and pan capability.
