Works well for indoor doors but Kinda flimsy
It would work great for bedrooms or sheds or something but not to actually keep you safe. Anyone with force can actually bodycheck the door and this would come flying off lol

These do work, however I don’t think I’d use them in any security application, the metal is quite thin, and the screws are laughable. Nothing about this will stop someone who puts their shoulder to a door, let alone their foot.That said, in my application where I’m just stopping something from accidentally sliding open, they work great.

These are sturdy metal and look nice. We needed them to lock one of our sliding doors from the outside when our pup is in and they kept her secure. The size is exactly what we needed and havenât seen any rust yet. Very easy to install!
