Does the job but a little short in height.
I bought this for my gas fireplace to keep my dog from going to close. My only complaint is that itâs shorter than the gas insert so I bought a metal monitor stand to place it on and it works great! Gives just enough height to cover entire insert

The size and style is exactly what we were looking for. I wish the feet were smaller, and that the unit would sit lower at the bottom.
This fireplace screen is both sturdy and looks great. It fits perfectly in front of my fireplace and adds a nice decorative touch to the room. Easy to set up and does its job well.
It was not quite wide enough, but the next larger size would have been way too big. The design is very nice . I bought it to keep my new kittens out of the sooty fireplace, & so far it has worked very well.

Although, I would have preferred other colors to choose from beside black, I must say that this fireplace screen is well made and fits my fireplace nicely. I love the simple design and more importantly, for me, I love the fact that the feet fit into the fireplace opening instead of outside, which would add too much distance from the screen to the opening of the fireplace. This screen lays nicely flat against the brick. I recommend the Fire Beauty Single Panel Fireplace Screen Handcrafted Solid Wrought Iron Mesh for those who want a screen that will lay comfortably against the brick.
So I’m a pretty good looking dude and always bringing home ladies to my abode. I have 2 fireplaces one in my dining room and one in my bedroom aka love den. I needed a new fire place screen due to all the use of my fireplace because of all the ladies I bring home. I like to have the ladies layout on my bearskin rug in front of the fireplace to commence our love den activities if you know what I mean. This particular fire screen I purchased for my love den because it looked pretty cool and sexy just like me. The screen itself is lightweight and nice looking. I highly recommend it.
