Love this
I’ve had this for nearly two years now and I still use it every night for my little one. I don’t use the app very often but it has a variety features and settings that are really nice to have. The only con is the lowest sound setting is pretty low and the next one up from that is slightly loud. But it’s a great machine, worth the price tag and I recommend.
Best purchase ever
We searched for a night lamp, so that I could feed our newborn easily without waking up my husband – and I adored the design of this lamp. And it turned out to be the best purchase ever.I just love this lamp and everything about it. It even has an app with remote control and buttons on the lamp itself, everything extremely easy to use. There are 3 light modes – night light, star projection on the ceiling, and a sideways animal projection to the walls , which I use as a bright night light. All of them adjustable in the app.It has nice variety of music (setting *5, soothing *5) and noises*6, with adjustable volume level – both with the buttons and in the app, separate timers for light and music (only in the app). There is a possibility to customize a sleeping routine, but I didnât use it much, as well as preset programs, and just chose whichever I need at the time.I love the lamp so much it even travels with us and is essential part of my baby’s sleep routineSpeaking of tiny downsides – it works only plugged in- the buttons of the lamp are dimly lit on at all times when the lamp is plugged in, and brightly lit up when the exact setting is turned on. And we hate any unnecessary lights in our blacked-out sleeping chamber, so my husband taped up all buttons with the black electrical tape, as I mostly use the app.- and a plea to Fischer-Price technical support – please, fix the companion app! It’s working not bad in general, but it sometimes loses connection, had been unsuccessfully trying to install updates for the last half of the year, and once a month either the app or the lamp itself bugs out and turns off completely, so I have to unplug and plug it back in.Nonetheless it’s the best and I totally recommend it.
Great purchase!
Love this little sound machine and night light. The sound is good quality and has 3 volumes, and the projector is a nice touch. My baby enjoys watching it but doesn’t get overstimulated about it. The plastic does feel cheap and they put the seam on the front but for $35 I feel like it’s a good value! The app is cool but optional, the unit is fully functional without it
Good product
Needed night light and soothing music for my little one. Does its job and the best thing is it works on direct power, no need to worry about charging and you can control using app
Happy with Purchase
We have had this “soother” for several weeks now and so far have been happy with the purchase. We have the fisher Price soothing motions bassinet and really like the little light and sound box on it and were looking for something to replace that once our second child has grown out of the bassinet and we either sell or give it away. For the most part this has been a good stand in. The star projection on the bassinet projector is superior as it covers a large portion of the ceiling while the deluxe soother really only casts stars on a small area directly above the unit, but the other features are satisfactory. For simplicity I’ve listed our likes and dislikes below:Likes:-app was easy to set up and use; generally stays connected (I have had to reconnect a couple times as other reviewers have also mentioned)- Music/sounds are clear (I really like the brown and pink noise options which we use all night long)- Sleep Stages (We turn this on at the beginning of the bedtime routine and it is a nice wind down).Dislikes:- I wish the projectors (stars, animals) covered more of the ceiling and walls. My child has a fairly small room and the lights barely cover a small corner of it.- No volume control on the unit, must use app- Sleep stages are not customizable (unless I’m missing something?) I don’t like how the final sleep stage which plays the white noise also includes the night light. When I shut the night light off the app exists sleep stages and the animal projection turns on. This is an even brighter light than the night light and it takes a few seconds to shut off when you deselect it in the app and I’m always concerned the bright light will wake the baby.Overall, I think its a good product and I would recommend.
Nice Sounds
This works well.
Can’t say enough about this!
Have one at 2 houses. The sleep stages purs the kids out beautifully and I can set a nightlight at the perfect light level after! Highly recommend!
It was great! I thought the animals would move.
This soother has worked great and has been easy to connect to my app and use or just use manually. However I thought the animals would move and they donât.. the stars do twinkle a bit. I probably just needed to read the description better but I wanted to make sure other people didnât misunderstand this too.
I like that this sound machine not only has sound, but lights and a sleep cycle. The sleep cycle is helpful when making a routine at bedtime. There is also on-the-go music so in case youâre not around the device, you always have the music available. I also like that it is connected via Bluetooth and has a pretty good distance range. It is super easy to use and has so many options. This is actually the second one I am buying due to more kids. I love this product and will continue to work without problems.
Me encanta, a mi bebé lo entretiene pero no lo duerme; aun asi esta muy linda y cumple sus funciones al 100% la aplicación es fácil de usar.
Brilliant product, bought one for our 2nd child. Another good point is that it works with UK & Singapore power supplies. Only need a US/UK adapter (no transformer req).Only wish I could use the Bluetooth and app functionality here too.
Esta muy bueno, se controla fácilmente desde la app de FisherPrice .
My husband tells everyone how much sleep this thing has saved us. We bought a Hatch Baby first. The Hatch Baby music sounded like it was being played in a tin can and the same song would play on repeat on a 30 second loop. It was torturous. We returned it and purchased this. The buttons on the machine itself can be difficult to operate. Because of this, I don’t actually ever touch the buttons. I only use the app. I hope they will update some things on the app eventually – only one person can be connected at a time. However, the app works great – and it will work better the closer you are. Our bedroom is across the hall from our baby’s room and it works well. In the middle of the night if our baby wakes and has trouble settling, we turn the music on before going in the room – and almost every time it helps her settle back to sleep. We so rarely have to go in her room at night that when we do have to go in we are assessing her for signs of illness or teething. The app functions well and also offers music on the go – so awesome to play lullabies in the car when the baby gets restless, or at the doctor’s office to settle your child. People will comment on the lullabies and how sweet and well behaved my infant is. I grin and say, yes, I think we can all prefer lullabies to screaming!
