Suits my purpose and fits the dishwasher
It is a lot smaller than I thought it would be. But it actually works perfectly for a baby if you are just putting some food on their tray at a time. I would not feel comfortable with this chair if I could not be attentive to the baby at all times. It doesn’t seem that strong. The straps are long enough to even fit around this huge dining room chair. The whole thing, trays and the seat are easy to get clean. The trays fit well in the dishwasher. But the blue tray needs lean forward in the dishwasher because of the “arms” on it. The seat would probably fit in too when it needs a deep clean and sanitization. The chair can be put up to the table to skip the trays or do art. As you can see, the big tray is too small to even hold a piece of computer paper. So far I have been using it for an 8 month old. I have a small home daycare. The trays need 2 hands to put on and take off.
Functional seat for occasional use
I occasionally bring my baby (currently 9 months old) into the office with me, and ordered this chair so I could feed him lunch. Itâs very lightweight and convenient, and I love that the tray has a lid and a separate piece that you can remove to wash (although it can be difficult to remove). He doesnât cry or object to being put in the seat. I havenât tried to take the chair into a restaurant but I feel like it would be a bit bulky or awkward to do.
Great seat!
Perfect! Love this on the go seat for my little one. Perfect for when youâre visiting family and friends. The tray is adjustable 3 ways and also removable for easy clean up. The back rest folds down nicely once youâre done. The seat is very light weight so itâs easy to carry in and out of the house. The price is great too!
Portable and Easy to Clean
Amazing product. Very light weight, portable and easy to clean. We take this out with us when we eat in restaurants, go to Grandmas, or anywhere we are going to be eating. The green lid makes it easy to snap the mess all back together like a container and wash it when we get home. Straps to any chair (has a strap to go around the bottom of chair seat and the back of chair). Has safety belt as well. Excellent product
Well made and easy to use.
We’ve gone through a couple of other models and this is easily the best of the bunch. It’s well made, easy to clean and super sturdy.
Highly recommended, clever design
Compact and can be raised or lowered, depending on height requirements. Lightweight and fairly sturdy. Straps are fully adjustable for most chairs. Clever design. Table/tray is thoughtfully designed with three layers, depending on your needs. Highly recommended.
Not as great as I imagined, better options out there.
Bulky and not as compact as I had imagined. Not very secure on a chair… but our Eames style chairs were destined to be impractical for this object. Also on back order after I bought, did not arrive fast enough. I ended up returning and purchasing a used Phil and teds lobster at a local kids store.
Easy to clean !
This booster seat is so handy. Easy to install on chair. I like the height that the tray sits at. Plus the different inserts and dishwasher safe. So handy. Easy to clean. I’m replacing it because it’s handier and seems more comfy than our 4-1 high chair.
Our kid 1year sits in booster seat for meals and hence it is quite convenient to feed him without running around. The tray doubles up for play or for eating finger food. Easy to assemble, carry and clean
So we have 3 Kids. 12,3 &4. For our first, like typical first timers, we spent a ridiculous amount of money on unnecessary baby equipment. If you are a first timer- take some advice…..don’t waste money or space on a separate fancy high chair. They get gross, they waste space and aren’t necessary. You aren’t supposed to feed children that can’t sit up, so why does everyone want a reclining high chair?? I purchased the Fisher price space saver for my 2nd daughter. I liked it, but it’s bulky and you can’t fit the chair under the table, even on the lowest height. This booster is perfect. It is compact, but both my 3 and 4 year olds fit it fine. It fits great and snug on the chairs. It has a little raised spot in between the legs, so they aren’t slipping out. It’s super easy to adjust the height. I LOVE the folding back. It folds right down into a little cube. Traveling with this is super easy. I purchased the blue one and the red one for my preschoolers. Both have straps that are colored instead of white. That’s great because they won’t look so gross and stained. Every chair I ever owned had white straps and they end up looking disgusting. The straps tighten to the chair really well and the buckles are better quality than some I’ve had. It is well made. Solid. It doesn’t have any crevices where food will get stuck. The trays are great. I like the cover option. They snap snuggly to the trays. Obviously a child can pull it off… That’s not what it’s meant for. I would also skip the separate tray with the cup holder, until your baby is old enough to understand, they aren’t allowed to take it off while food is on the tray. Thankfully my kids are old enough, that won’t be a problem. The trays are big enough to fit a large plate, but easily fit in the dishwasher. They will clean up really easy. Most fancy high chairs are impossible the get really clean.I’ve had multiple high chairs, boosters and space savers over the last 12 years, but this one is by far the best made, most convenient and most versatile seat. especially for under $25…. I mean come on!! Lol. I should have used one from the beginning and saved a lot of resources, aggravation and $$.Highly recommended!! Good job Fisher Price!! Obviously it was a parent with some experience that developed this seat 🙂
I have a lot of kids. 🙂 We bought this travel booster when we had our oldest – and used it down through all of his siblings. It’s still working great–almost 20 years later! We recently bought a second one b/c we had irish twins and both needed their own booster. I was thrilled to find that they have changed very little over 20 years! (Truth be told-we bought a different brand b/c it was ‘cheaper’ but we quickly returned that one when we realized that nothing beats this Fisher Price model and it’s worth every penny–no other brand has successfully matched it.) We use this booster at home when our toddlers start climbing out of their high chairs or refusing to go into them – this chair buckles them firmly and safely and attaches very sturdily to our dining room chairs, helping them transition to eating at the table like the big kids. And we simply unhook it and take it to restaurants, friends’ houses, and even camping. It is very easy to clean, no crevices to worry about, and super durable to tote everywhere. One of my favorite purchases as a mother! I often give these as shower gifts to expecting mothers, and predictably when their baby turns about 18 months they tell me how much they love and use it! Buy it–you will thank me! This is a parenting necessity.
Using it for my 6math old gal, its good n easy to clean.Worth buying
This is my second go-round with this booster seat. I first ordered it about 15 years ago for my daughter, who used it full-time from about 13-24 months. She was a bitty bean. I just received a new one for my 10-month-old niece’s weekend visits. Exactly the same design, quality, and functionality, but different colors. The tray is pretty compact, small enough to hose off in the sink or run through the dishwasher. But lol why does the current description say it’s made of carbon steel? It’s just normal, sturdy, easy to-clean molded plastic, except for the standard nylon belts, which inevitably get crusted with peas, oatmeal, etc., just like any others.
