This toy set is super cute for anyone who is a gamer and has a baby, a fun little themed gift for the baby that also targets the parent’s interests. The set is nice and colorful and the buttons and material are super engaging for baby to play with and keeps mine entertained forever. The controller, especially, is a favorite. I like that the buttons and different pieces have different sensory experiences like clicking and crackling. The material is mostly just plastic and super easy to clean which is important to me with a baby. The pieces are also nice and secure and I am not worried about them breaking or pieces being a danger. Super happy and would reccommend!
This could make for a fun baby shower gift for parents that are gamers – the controller and headphones make for a good laugh and are definitely orientated towards newborns. There isn’t a lot of functionality here. The controller buttons don’t work – it’s just a rattle. Overall, I think this is good for a laugh at a baby shower.
Honestly, I’m kind of disappointed considering this is a Fisher-Price toy set. These are super hard plastic pieces that I really worry about around teething babies (and babies that like to throw things on the floor), and it’s not really all that interactive. The controller is completely rigid, nothing moves (no interactive buttons or joysticks). The headset does rattle, but that’s about it, it is also a very hard, tough plastic. No where on the packaging or description does it state that these are safe to be steam-cleaned, either. It says to spray it with isopropyl alcohol and hydrogen peroxide to disinfect them, but I was hoping steam-cleaning could also be an option but I guess it’s not.All that said, this is only $10- so for $10 it really is a cute and nice set, but you definitely will want to closely monitor your baby whenever they play with these since it’s such a tough, hard plastic. I was just expecting a lot better from Fisher-Price, I’d rather pay $20-$30 for a more interactive and SAFE toy set, and preferably one that can be safely be steam-cleaned as well.
What a fun set of toys that include a pretend game controller, headphones and a crinkle toy shaped like a gift card. Prefect for keeping infants 3 months or older entertained. This set also helps with fine motor skills. The pieces are made from hard plastic that are easy to clean. I think this set would also make a cute baby gift.
Hard plastic, rattles and crinkles so grabs my babies attention. He loves to hold onto it and rattle it, but doesn’t hold his attention very long as it isn’t interactive. Buttons and controls don’t move or click and not soft so it tends to get grabbed, and thrown to the side.
