I actually bought this to teach my Sheltie pup to do it. So far so good. She fetches the rings in order and tries to put them on, sometimes she manages. I think itâs hard for her to see the cone with the ring in her mouth. As for its intended use, it would be great. My kids had one when they were little and so did their kids. Definitely sturdy, well made and durable, even the dogâs teeth haven’t punctured any if the rings.
