I got mine today and the shovel does not go up and down now. What am I supposed to do with this thing? No quality protection. I would not buy this product again
This is a nice solid, relatively heavy, well built front end loader. It looks and feels like it would take a lot of abuse in a sandbox or relatively flat smooth terrain. The scoop is metal, so ramming into something solid with scoop down will not shatter the scoop into pieces as a plastic one might. The arms that hold and actuate the scoop, as well as where and how it’s attached, look solid and beefy enough to take that kind of abuse. This toy will not fall apart if kicked around outside and driven into a metal fence post!However, I can’t give it 5 stars due to a few issues. First of all, it is all wheel drive, but no steering the way a loader would. The way it turns is by only turning wheels on one side while the other two wheels on the other side get kind of dragged around. On flat smooth dirt outside, or bare floor, that is not problem. However on carpet there is not enough power to drag those two opposite wheels over the carpet. On even very low grass same issue. What compounds this however, is that there is less than a quarter inch of ground clearance under the vehicle, as shown in my second pic. A small pebble and it’s hung up. A tiny clump of grass stops it. Point being, it really only works well on bare floor or smooth flat dirt surface without pebbles outside. I would think that they would have designed it to work better on a more rough terrain being it’s construction equipment.
This is a pretty cool toy. Is easy to drive and works fairly well. Has good battery life. Looks pretty awesome and is mostly realistc. Dump works good and will haul and dump a suprising amount of weight. Overall great toy for the money kids will definitely love it
