After loosing hundreds of dollars worth of frozen foods, I decided to buy a RF freezer thermometer. I purchased the AcuRite Digital Wireless Fridge and Freezer Thermometer with Alarm and after trying to set it up and make it work for 10 days, I gave up. The AcuRite sensors took forever to change temperature. The only good thing is the range of the sensors. I am returning it.I bought the Briidea and with its simple directions 1 sheet verses many confusing pages for the AcuRite. I had it working in 45 minutes. The ONLY issue I have with the Briidea is the range of the RF (it seems to be about 30 feet versus the AcuRite of 75 feet). The display is very easy to read and very logical. I highly recommend this product.
Exactly what I was looking for for our small fridge/ freezer in our travel trailer! Since our use is very sporadic (we turn our unit on the day before we leave) we previously had to open the fridge/ freezer and literally stick our arm in to ensure that it was cooling down inside. To additionally complicate our setup, it runs on propane during the drive, but 120 v AC when its plugged in. If we run out of propane, or if a wire would happen to short out, we’d have no idea until food (and ice cream) starts melting. This was the perfect hands-off solution, and a bonus is that the third/ bottom number tells us what the ambient temp is, which is super nice because our old camper doesn’t have a thermometer. We are recommending all of our friends to buy one! You know everything is fine and working with just one glance!

Alarms could be a little louder but other than that they are perfect
Set up was easy, and it connected to the freezer and refrigerator sensors quickly. It evens senses the indoor temp. It’s a better buy then the higher priced refrigerator senser I have.
