I bought this to cover the back of a bookshelf’s edge. It looks great, is easy to use and holds well.
I picked this up to protect the corners in my RV where we tend to rub against them walking through. It works well for that purpose, but I should have gotten ones a little wider to cover the existing scratching/rubbing. That’s no fault of this. They seem to stick really well, I heated it with a heat gun as I was installing it for better adhesion. I don’t know how well it would remove, but that’s a problem for future me.
I ordered this to protect various edges around the house from damage.This is not a VHB or instant stick adhesive. The surface you mount it onto needs to be clean. Use IPA. You cannot just put this in place and expect it to stay as it is pressure sensitive. It must be pressed into place and allowed to bond. I use a roller to archive this. If mounting to a greater than a 90-degree surface from the floor (like upside down), tape it in place for 24 hours to allow it time to fully bond. The adhesive works fine when installed correctly.The material used is stiffer than other products and what I was expecting. This makes it much easier to keep straight. You can go around slight curves with it, but you might fight with adhesion. I recommend straight edges. This product is not soft. It will cushion an impact with the corner it is protecting. It will also protect the corner very well.Other products I have used have a wider and more flexible area at the bend. This makes the bend look ugly because it is not supported. The bend on this product is thin and tight, making the bent look crisp and clean when installed.Overall, I really like this product. When installed correctly it works and looks great. I do recommend it.

This textured synthetic product is narrow and thin and has two strips of adhesive. I’m not using it to protect wall corners, which it is designed for. Instead I’m using it to cover my CCTV wires as they come down the wall. I didn’t have those wires covered previously until they reached the floor. On the floor they are covered. Unfortunately, my young dog found the uncovered wires on the wall and chewed them up and pulled them out from under the floor cover. So now I’m using this edge protector to cover the wires on the wall. I’m using it flat and not folded. The protector is stiff and I am unsure that it would stay stuck wrapped around a corner for it’s original purpose. It works good for my purpose.
