Reviews

  1. The perfect chair
The perfect chair to take with you. It packs small, has a sturdy carry bag with carabineer and is very light weight. Since the legs fold in half, it folds down 1/3 smaller than the comparable Slacker chair and costs less money than the Slacker. A much beter designed chair than the Slacker which I also purchased. It supports my weight of 220 lbs with no problem and is rated at 250 lbs. Sitting on it is comparable to sitting on a wide bycicle seat and is quite comfortable to sit on for extended periods. At 21 inches high when set up (the highest stool available), it is easy to sit down in and to get up from.I would definately recommend this chair as it is my new favorite to take on hikes..

  2. A very nice useful light piece of gear…!
This stool is a very nice piece of gear, very light to carry and it only takes seconds to remove it from the bag unfold/assemble and be sitting on it, having very bad legs and only being able to stand up for very short periods of time I bought it to use for sitting behind my tripod when I’m staking out an area waiting for some Wildlife to show up, the height is great because I’m not struggling to get up from a very low position, I received mine today and unfortunately one of the legs has a gouge in it, I need to use it this weekend so I don’t have the time to send it back for replacemen, the gouge is the reason for deducting 1 star but I’m so pleased with the stool I’ll be purchasing a second.

  3. Easily snaps together
I’ve been looking for a lightweight portable stool for outdoor painting trips. It’s at a perfect height for my portable easel. It snaps together rather quickly so beware not to do this close to one’s head or other body parts or you risk getting bonked. It’s easy to fold up and put back in its carrying case too. The canvas fabric case is nice and sturdy, no problems with it. I haven’t tested it in the field yet but it’s comfortable to sit on and should be fine.

  4. Excellent product for taking around art shows and home shows
We have these seats in our tow along carts for attending home shows and art shows etc and while we have tested them, they have not had to be used as we did not get tired lately at things we have attended. My wife has a bit of difficulty but mostly due to bad knees but these are better than others as they are taller and she can extract herself with a bit of effort. I find the seat very nice with no concern over sitting or standing and the seat fits comfortably. The nice thing also is the compact size so that we can place them horizontally in the pull cart and still have room for coats (light ones) plus some purchases or if too many purchases, they are easily hung on a belt loop etc.

  5. sturdy and light
Good sturdy little seat, small to pack and light weight. Will be using for camping, not too uncomfortable for a small stool.

  6. Emergency seat
I did not purchase this item because I did not like the construction of the legs which had 2 pieces that snapped together to open to the full length. You had to pull the 2 parts which was held by a strong rubber elastic to close it. The seat itself was very tiny and uncomfortable for a person with a bigger butt.It only weighed 1.5 pounds which was great and had a hook to carry it on a belt- but I don;t wear belts so not ideal Maybe for a delicate hiker this would be useful

  7. Good quality.
Use it for another season for following my kid’s golf tournaments. Good quality, very sturdy.

  8. Broke the first time I used it.
Used it for a golf tournament. One leg broke the first day (bottom stopper on the leg popped off and the elastic band snapped off), Second leg broke the second day. I still used it by carefully holding it together every time I moved it, otherwise the legs just dangle and it’s a pain to get them back on.Too bad as it’s tall and lightweight but shoddily made.

  9. It’s taller then most othersIt folds smaller than others. Better for quick Lyft trips around the city waiting. It’s quick profitable as all hell. The bag attaches to my bag. It’s sturdy I’m 200lbs. I feel okay.Dispute it folding in on itself it’s a great super quick take down and set up item. Comes in handy. Very cool. Be aware the actuall butt hight and hip hight. It’s close to the ADA HIP PRECAUTION tolerances. Or the closest I’ve seen. And yea your junk will be uncomfy but you’ll not be on your feet. , and you’ll live. lol.Great product. It’ll last and I’m buying againBeware = un even terrain could be tricky. I used only in the city in pavement waiting on rides. Or brief stays at daily retail store trips.Hobo approved

  10. Small pack size, light and easy to set up. Bought primarily for eating at the table whilst camping. Good height for purpose. Promotes better posture than slouching in larger camping chairs.

  13. You can’t leave your weight very much onto this chair. Best suits to people who need the hight.
