This camera is great, the Geeni app is super easy to use and very easy to expand your device list on.The Geeni series seems endless, and if you want a non-subscription option to home/office monitoring, this is a fantastic option!The little flex stick mount is cool. Not like.. revolutionary, but it’s cool.Overall I’m happy with this purchase, would recommend.

Good little camera for the price. I have 3 that keep an eye on the place while I’m out. I can check in through the app and they send motion and sound notifications to my phone. One is in an unheated (cold, damp) but sheltered (no rain) space and has been running for years now with no issues.I have only had one issue getting them to connect once after a power outage. The customer service was excellent and we got it up and running again.

Wifi connection not so easy at first, but once installed, settings are very responsive and seamless. Good image quality. Mouvement detection is not so bad, but I think it doesn’t go further than 6-8 meters, according to my apartment. Don’t forget to buy a SD card (max 128GB) and a long USB cable (mini type, not USB-C) if you plan to install it near the ceiling. The camera functions only if plugged in the wall with the USB cable. The Wifi connection needs the 2,4GHz frequency, not the 5GHz. You then need to show the PR code in the phone to the camera.

These small indoor cams are perfect. I set them up on our indoor window ledge and point them outside. They pick up movement, even cars driving by. 3 levels of sensitivity. The night vision is best augmented with a motion sensor light. I also purchased 128gb Micro SD card. No subscription needed. Good product for the price. 2.4 Gz internet connection was easy.

Total waste of money! We were never able to connect it. It takes FOREVER and then doesnât even connect we spent days going back trying it over again with no luck. Please donât buy this unless you want a garbage camera

Good quality
Only one of the two cameras worked. The cords are much shorter than they were before, so you can’t be far from an outlet. You either have to buy another cord, so have the camera low down, unless you have outlets high up on a wall. The motion detection is very, very touchy even on lowest setting, so you will be getting notifications every few seconds. Other than that, you get a nice quality video view. The night vision works great as well. It’s cute, it’s small, it does what it is supposed to do, and worth the money.
Review for 1080 pix geenie look cam. Returned 780 pix as it showed continuous pixelating.Like: flexible stem, small size, store on purchased sd card.Dislike: Motion Sensor is useless, as it detects more pics of nothing than it does people. If a person may/may not get detected, cam takes one still pic only. No follow up pics, so you cannot see actual intrusion. Only see still pic of person approaching door. Useless for security, as the police want a record of actual break-in in order to press charges. Alternative is to watch live stream 24/7 in order to catch the villain. However, no one does that; Buy for your amusement only.
This is someone elseâs review, but I experienced it, too, and this is very scary: I used this camera as a second baby monitor that I could use to see my baby sleeping while Iâm at workâ¦The infrared lights are a bit bright though, which baby likes to stare at. However, there is a sound bell that plays when there is someone accessing the camera through the app, so when I go in to look at her, she could potentially wake up from the sound. More importantly, this sound has gone off at random times during the day and night. I started leaving the infrared function off because it was so bright, and – this was very scary to me – a few times at night, the sound went off saying someone was looking, then the infrared light went on for a few seconds (presumably do someone on the app could see as it was dark), and then everything turned off. I am not a conspiracy type of person, but I think that other people are able to look at what is on the camera and I will no longer be using this. I would suggest others do the same.
