Great way to freeze food
We had purchased the Geryon sealer and have used several different brands of bags. We tend to purchase what is most economical at the time of purchase.We have now purchased both the Geryon roll and individual bags. Both are of good quality and seal well. Sometimes it is difficult to get a vacuum seal, but I am not sure if that is a plastic issue or machine issue.We liked the idea of the box for ease of use. The box is of good quality and stores easily. The cutter slices the plastic nicely and is easier to get a straight line than with scissors.My only complaint would be that the plastic rolls back into the box when not in use. A small clip or piece of adhesive would be great to keep the plastic on top of the box, ready to go when needed.The roll is more economical at approx .27 per 12″ section as opposed to the precut bags that are .40. The opportunity to cut different sizes also saves money/eliminates waste. We tend to use the 8″ size bag the most.We use the bags to store food in the freezer as well as cut onions in the fridge to eliminate the smell.We would purchase again. Hopefully there is a refill roll to save on buying another box for a few refills.
The most practical aspect: Built-in Cutter Design:
I have been using Geryon vacuum sealer for a long time now – and when you are using sealer bag roll, one needs to cut the length and seal to make the plastic bag. The use of scissor to cut the length seems simple enough but it is hard to make the straight cut and so after sealing the bag would look uneven. Also, it does take time to cut using the scissor.However, this innovative design of sealer bags roll equipped with in-built cutter is an amazing and very creative solution. Not only, it helps to make a straight cut, but the resultant bags look really neat and perfect.I loved the innovative solution to quickly cut the plastic bag. Also the design is very sturdy. Once you pull the end of plastic roll through the provided slit in the box, it is only matter of swiping the cutter and cut the length you need.I really loved my Geryon vacuum sealer – and now this simple and neat vacuum roll is a neat product. Give it a try, you would love it. And you would love the ease and simplicity of creating your vacuum bags in the size you need.

Helps save grocery money
As I already had Geryon’s vacuum sealer unit, I was thrilled to try their boxed roll of sealer bag material. The box is sturdy, the roll dispenses easily. Cutting your length of bag material is as easy as holding the end and sliding the cutter head across in it’s track. Safely too!You can customize the length easily, making efficient use of the material. When I buy something like cheese in a big block, as soon as I cut it open, I immediately cut it into manageable sizes for my family, sealing each chunk with the Geryon sealer. This way, the cheese keeps fresh so much longer. Having the roll dispenser, means less waste when I want to customize what I’m sealing up for freshness.I’m hoping they make this in a 6 inch size soon too!
Won’t buy freezer bags anywhere else!
This brand is fantastic! My purchase of the roll in a box is an excellent value for the money and unlike some less expensive brands I’ve tried, it’s strong and easy to work with. It’s a little lighter weight and initially I was concerned it wouldn’t have the strength but as it turns out it’s strong and the lighter weight seems to make a better seal. Customer service was friendly and prompt in dealing with a delivery issue. I would absolutely recommend this product to anyone!

Love the idea of being able to choose the size of the bag.
Very pleased with this purchase. The box comes with a zipper style slicer. You never have to take the bags out of the box to cut them and you can control the size of the bag. For example, if you have something small to vacuum and seal you are able to choose how short or long of a bag you need. Therefore, no waste. I would recommend purchasing the same brand that goes with the food saver.
Won’t reseal
I liked the quality of the plastic. Seemed like a great product until I realised I cannot reseal the package once I have used it. When I seal things like hard cheese, I will put it back in the package and reseal it till I need it again. For what ever reason this packaging will not vacuum out when I try to reseal it. It could be just a this product with my machine…but it doesn’t work for me. I will use them up for sealing one time use stuff like meat. Inconvenient to have to have multiple products because this one doesn’t do half of what I need ð
Very easy to dispence and to cut with the built in cutter. My old Tillia vacuum had no issues with vacuum and sealing, very happy with this brand so far.
Great idea instead of the bags
If you need to keep track of portions this is the way.Try to keep cut outs more squared than long, and try not to pack more than one layer if can be helped.Avoid trying to use this with flour (too much surface areas for air.)Great product for the collection
Great product and great quality
The box containing the roll is good as I can just leave it on the kitchen countertop if I intend to use it for the day. The cutter attached to the side of the box is too loose and I have to adjust it properly to get a straight cut. Ideally, if there is a little sticker to the center front of the box, it will be able to hold the tip of the roll in place. Currently it keeps on sliding back to the inside of the box after cutting the roll. About 30 cm of the front roll was folded in certain parts of the bag when I first opened up to use as the roll was loose.
