Excellent product at a low price
I have just received this chair and it checks all the marks. Build quality is 10 out of 10 for the price range. I am using it at home for microscope work. I would probably not use this chair in a busy lab with a 24/7 heavy load, but I can see this product being suitable even for this use case. I cannot comment now on the long-term durability of the adjustable post or the seat foam, but based on my experience with previous products, this is not an issue if used as specified. I weigh 175 pounds, and for this weight, based on the materials and build quality that I see, and for intermittent use, I would predict that this chair will perform a long time, as expected and as designed. I come back with details after 1 year of use.
The chair is easy to put together and seems sturdy enough as I am a large guy. The only concern going forward i have is with the backrest. It doesnt slide into the bottom very far and is held on with 2 bolts. It seems to be fragile but time will tell. Also just a note about this chair, for me this chair came from canada, and was sent to Colorado where it sat for 5 days with no change in what I assume was customs. It doesnt affect my rating at all but just a point to know in case you were buying in an emergency.
Comfort for playing keyboard instrument in hours!
Pretty easy to assemble. I took the wheels off though because there is no way to lock the wheels so that a person with weight and mobility issues could have chair slide out underneath them. Once the wheels are off though, then the chair is firmly and solidly on the carpet at my desk.
Thank you costway for developing this chair. I needed a desk chair that could sit at 21 inches from the ground and still go up as needed, that was relatively space conservative, and didn’t cost an arm.Simple construction, easy adjustment. There is a little sink when you first sit down, but it’s not an issue for me.I am 5’3, 135lb. My feet do not touch the ground at the setting I have it on (23in seat to floor), so the ring is very nice to have.
I’m so happy with the height adjustments and foot rest. I can use the chair at my desk at 22″ or raise it to 27″ to use at my counter. It’s very sturdy, took my daughter less than 15 minutes to assemble. Rolls easily. I’ve been using it for several weeks and have found no negatives about this product.
