Big hit at Christmas
Bought these for a 5 and 3 year old and they haven’t stopped playing with them since Christmas morning. They’re a little smaller than expected but they are still easy to interact with and the magnets seem to hold them in place without being too strong so that the youngest can still manipulate them. This has helped with encouraging creative activities and avoiding screen time. A little on the pricey side but seeing how much the kids loved them they were worth the money.

Fun and easy to assemble, tear down, and assemble again in a whole new way
The big question with a lot of these magnetic block toys is whether they represent good value for you. The significant price is hard for me to justify, if I’m honest… despite the fact that there isn’t much to complain about otherwise!As a parent who grew up with LEGO bricks littering my room, I certainly appreciate any toy that allows for creatively assembling, dismantling, and trying again with different results. In that regard, this toy mostly hits the mark… the downside being that your pieces are strictly squares, so the creative opportunities aren’t as wide and varied as with interlocking building bricks.However, thanks to the popularity of Minecraft, those limits are familiar to soooo many kids that what I see as a major limitation just isn’t a concern for them. This set – consisting of 150 pieces – is big enough to afford your kids a reasonable amount of creativity. The challenge is that if you want to build a large structure you suddenly find they’re all used up. But with time you hopefully learn to make the most of what you’ve got.
Fun magnetic building blocks with a Dark Realm theme
I had previously gotten my grandkids other magnetic block sets and they very much enjoy building with them but they recently asked me if I could get some more magnetic blocks so they could build bigger projects. I saw this GOODY KING 150 PCS Magnetic Building Blocks set and decided to order it for them.Upon unboxing you are presented with 150 magnetic building blocks and a basic instruction sheet. The blocks are approximately 0.8 in x 0.8 in x 0.8 in.The theme of this set is 3D Dark Realm. The theme involves a prince, princess, dark castle and dragons. The blocks have a definite Minecraft look and feel to them.The magnets are strong enough to easily hold the blocks together in their desired positions. The blocks appear to be well made and seem very durable. The magnets are securely sealed inside the blocks and it doesn’t appear there is anyway expect by breaking the blocks open that they can become loose.My grandkids have enjoyed this set immensely and are very happy that they can now build bigger projects by combining this set with their other sets. This is a fun activity and provides endless possibilities for what they can create. Recommended.RATING 5.0/5.0
Magnetic blocks
They work as intended but aren’t the best quality. They stick together and stay together for the most part. They look okay at first but that’s where it goes downhill. The images wear off quickly and get damaged easily. Because of this they look atrocious after some time of using them.
Would be fun during the winter season
These magnetic blocks are a wonderful alternative to traditional wooden blocks or plastic building bricks. They allow kids to build unconventional shapes that can’t be created with wooden building blocks.Each magnetic cube measures 0.75 inches on each side. The blocks connect magnetically. I assume that the magnets flip around so that the poles are always in the correct position to connect.The blocks are easy to connect and tear down, which would make them great in a classroom setting. They do not come with a storage case so I plan on picking up a small tote to store this and our other sets.The blocks in this set are best suited for winter scenes. This set would be great to have during the holiday season so little ones could make up different seasonal stories. This set is compatible with our other sets.
These are the smaller version of magnetic block. They work with other brands that are a similar size. They colors are vivid and my boys love building with them
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my five year old. He absolutely loved it and played with it for hours. The magnets work great, and are easy to stack together for castle and portal building. It was the best gift for his young imagination. The case it comes in is great for cleanup and storage.
I love that these magnetic blocks were compatible with a different set i bought. They have strong magnets and are entertaining for all 3 of my kids. Easy to store and definitely worth the money. color matches the description as well
