Reviews

  1. Stem
Timely shipping. Just as expected quality. Only problem is it says 4 ½ inch stem, but needs at least a ½in to hook together… im an inexperienced diy-er so I didn’t know that. I jimmy-rigged the door so it worked but it should say “fits upto 4in. door”

  2. easy to in stall
    it is good

  3. Excatly what I wanted
I is what I wanted. A simple handle with a lock for a front porch shed. The internal locking mechanism was very simple to install. The only downside is the key is tough to get in properly. I am sure over time that issue will remedy itself.

  4. Door handle
Item installed easily and worked properly. All good

  5. Not for cold climates
Broke trying to get into my shed, don’t buy if you live in a cold climate. Now to figure out a replacement

  6. We needed to add a handle to a metal door so we had to modify the inner handle just a tad. But that was expected. This design made it very easy to adapt to our needs. The price to performance is good and our purpose perfectly. The simple lock works fine, although in our case we won’t be using the build in lock in the handle. We tried it and it functioned perfectly, but we have a secondary deadbolt lock on the same door so no need to use both. Would buy again if needed.

  7. Didnt take long to become flimsy, handle becoming floppy, key sticking, location of handle now critical if the lock will engage or not. Disappointing for the price and wait for what was assumed to be better quality than the alternatives out there.

  8. This was half the price in Amazon compared to my local hardware store. It was easy installation and it works great on my shed.

  9. The quality is decent and looks and mechanically works fine. The 4.5 shaft is the clearance I needed for a standard shed door that has a 2×4 door frame plus 1/4 sheathing, plus 3/4 trim on the door (3.5+.25+.75=4.5). I thought this 4.5 handle was meant to work up to 4.5 door widths. The shaft is only 4.5 and the inner handle has to slide on about a 1/2 minimum to be secure with the set screw. So options: I can ruin my frame and cut out a notch, weld on an extension, leave it to look pretty and add a hasp lock, or send it back. I ordered two for two different sheds so I will probably jerryrig one since it is half installed and send the other one back.

  10. I can close my shed again…Ho-rray!
