Good quality thermometer and good app.
Seems excellent quality. Does a lot more than I expected and connects well. I use it to monitor the temperature of my motorcycle in winter storage with a heater. This way I was able to get it set to only keep the temperature just above freezing.The app graphs temperature and humidity. Very handy to see what the heater is doing.I’ll probably order another for use in my home.
Easy setup, works well
Setup is easy, just install to Govee Home app and I think I had to press the button on the top to get it to show up when scanning Bluetooth devices from my phone. After that I was able to setup an alert based on high/low thresholds. i’m using it to monitor some water equipment that is in an unheated area of the workshop, if it gets too cold I’ll need to heat the space to avoid ruptures.Only con I have is that I can’t configure the thresholds unless I’m in Bluetooth range.
Works well
Thermometer is accurate and stays connected to wifi well. Easy to read and app works great – graphs temp and humidity over hour, day, week, month, and year, with hi, low, and averages. Only con is its very hard on batteries – I use lithium cells and only get about 4 months.
Accurate
Extremely accurate! Battery lasts for a good period of time. Only thing, i wish it had a backlit screen to see the info when itâs dark. I have it paired with the Govee humidifier and works great together. Humidifier starts and stops automatically at the desired humidity level. Bought 3 of them. Pretty satisfied.
Reliable and great features
Iâve bought a few of these to help identify a problem/pattern with heating balance at our business. Hooked up to wifi and Iâm able to get frequent temp measurements, as well contains great metrics that show various viewpoints and time ranges. Worked great.Later bought a few more to setup at our other business locations along with at home. Now have great visibility of temperature along with historical readings/charts. Definitely helped us identify problematic hvac units, or when gas fireplace was left turned on, etcâ¦Can setup alerts depending on customizable low/high temp measurements. Can view realtime (updates every 10 mins) from anywhere via the free Govee app (no subscription or fee). Only limitation is that you cannot change settings of the unit unless youâre connected to it via Bluetooth, which isnât a big deal.Not sure yet how long the batteries last, but Iâve been using the OOTB provided batteries for about 2 months and still at 75% power remaining.Highly recommend. Nice product.

Handy little gadget for my garage workshop
I got this so I could monitor temperature and humidity in my woodworking workshop. Does the job very nicely. Easy to check readings on my iPhone, but can’t get the Mac desktop widget working. Batteries last long time and I get a warning on the phone when they need changing.
