Made in the USA from food-safe, 100% recycled plastic milk jugs that save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the Shape Sorter helps develop recognition of shapes and colors while also encouraging eye-hand coordination, problem solving and fine and gross motor skill development. The two-part elliptical Shape Sorter and 8 colorful shapes (2 stars, 2 circles, 2 squares, 2 triangles) are the perfect size and weight for little hands. Each piece slides easily into the chute cut-outs on both the top and bottom of the Sorter, which opens with a simple twist, separating the two halves and letting the pieces out again. No BPA, phthalates, PVC or external coatings and also meets FDA food contact standards. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Packaged with recycled and recyclable materials and printed with soy inks. Fun and safe toy
My son is only 8 months old and gets very excited when we take out this toy. He handles the shapes and is fascinated with the difference between each one (I love how they are the perfect size for his hands). He is not very enthusiastic with putting the shapes through the holes because he prefers to bang them together, so I really appreciate that this toy is very durable. I also love how this toy is very safe with no BPA, phthalates, or PVC so I do not need to worry when he places the pieces in his mouth. Great toy to bring to Grandma’s house as all the pieces lock easily in the shell.

This is a great gift and great quality for a toddler.
Good learning toy
My son is 15 months and is starting to really like this toy. The shapes are quite simple, making it easy for him to fit the shapes in the holes. He also really likes shaking the toy, as it makes noise with the shapes inside. It’s well made, not flimsy at all. The only negative is that when the shapes are inside the toy, it’s a bit hard to get the last few inside the sorter – sorter maybe could have been a tad larger. Overall, its a good price for a good product.

Perfect toddler toy!
This is the perfect basic shape sorter for toddlers. Some shapes are more challenging than others, so it has held my little one’s interest for months as it grows with him. He even just likes to shake it when it’s full to make noise. Would definitely recommend

It was dirty when it arrived so I advise to clean before letting child play with it (as you should with all toys)Exactly as described. My baby likes it and I think it will help with learning shapes.
I actually bought this one on sale just to go in the living room toybox for when company comes over with little ones. These Green Toys are absolutely the best, hands down! What’s not to love? The minute you recieve one you relize the substantial and durable quality of them. They are easy to clean and I literally can not fathom any saftey hazards whatsoever with these toys (other than if the are used as a projectile, but that is the case with most toys that are not fabric, so obviously if there is a baby in the bunch with some older toddlers or so, you should still have your eyes on the kids). I love that they are all dishwasher safe for sterilizing. We have decided to keep all the Green Toys in a toy box in our main livingroom for 2 reasons. When we have company with children or playmates visiting, they can all just dive into these toys and we don’t have the aggravation of my grandson’s other toys being dragged out with multiple pieces, and those are not all small child safe, and we can not just throw them in the dishwasher afterwards as we can these. These are literally worry free toys when children are visiting (other than the aforementioned throwing, or maybe banging over the head, so yes you still must parent as we should be anyway). Second, after dinner, when there is just a small window of time for bath and playtime before bed, these are hassle free and the only toys we let him drag out because they are simple and easy pickup. BONUS, they are MADE IN THE USA, and of completely recycled materials. I have not seen that many quality toys like these other than ones made in the 1940’s or so, where good craftsmanship (as these are) mattered, even in a toy. We have at least 2 dozen of these toys and they have become an awesome gift item especially when they go on sale, which is often. They are literally the PERFECT toys!

Questo movimento è ancora difficile per nostra figlia, che deve così sforzarsi di infilare le formine nelle corrette fessure, piuttosto che aprire semplicemente il coperchio del contenitore per mettercele dentro.A nostra figlia piace poi usare una sola semisfera, riempirla con tutte le formine, e poi agitarla forte per vedere i vari pezzi colorati saltare via da tutte le parti – per somma gioia della madre 🙂
