This was given as part of a baptism gift. The mother was overjoyed (in fact, she had one when she was a child, given by her mother). GUNDâs quality is still top notch and the childâs voice (reciting the prayer) is sweet and doesnât sound harsh, nor stilted.

Soo adorable
My daughter has found such comfort in praying when she wakes up from a nightmare . This little bear is there for her when she needs a little help at night falling back asleep. Itâs super soft, the voice is cute and itâs adorable. The only downside we have noticed is the hands became unstitched the first day. Quick fix but was still disappointing for her when it fell apart.

I bought this gift recently for a baby shower and it was by far, hands down – the most popular gift the entire day!! Everyone wanted to see it, hear it and feel it. It was the ONLY gift that was passed around to ALL 40+ party guests. When I ordered this item, I knew it was cute – but I had no idea…. Not only is it plush and super adorable, it recites the payer “Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep” in the sweetest, cutest, most calming voice ever, and the little bear is down on his knees with his little paws praying. I got so many compliments on the gift and everyone wanted to know where I got it from so I felt a little guilty that I didn’t know how precious it was until the day of the party (I had it shipped directly to the expecting mommy from Amazon). Great baby shower gift; it will be the biggest hit at the party!!! Well made, beautiful item – you can easily buy this bear for any baby; boy or girl.
It’s just adorable. My daughter ordered this for her niece who recently had a baby. I was present when the new mother opened it, She got such a loving look on her face at the cuteness of the sweet little bear. Then, when she learned, by operating it, that it said the, “Now I lay me down to sleep” prayer, she loved it even more. Can you imagine playing that for her baby when he becomes a toddler. What a good way to help him to learn that prayer. I may be wrong but I don’t consider this to be, specifically and only, a religious item because of what it says. I consider it a cuddly bear that has the added benefit of teaching your child this bedtime prayer. I think it makes a great gift. In fact, this just reminded me of someone I know who just had a baby. I just thought of the perfect gift for the new baby. This!
This is so sweet. I ordered this for my god daughter 2 years ago and she loved it. Now ordering for my newer god daughters baptism gift. It is very soft and the perfect size for a little kid. The prayer is a catchy and memorable version so kids can repeat it.
So soft and cute! The prayer is said very clearly, and it’s sweet. It doesn’t lean back in person like it does in the video, lol. It sits upright on its knees. Bought it for my 3 month old for Christmas. Love it for her! Gave it 4 stars though because there is no way to change a battery or anything, so once the voicebox dies that’s it, no more prayer. Would have preferred a battery back up so we can listen to the prayer for years to come. We’ll see how long it lasts.
